We waited for almost 20 minutes in a queue to check in. Throughout our stay, our room keys kept deactivating, which involved more trips to reception and further queuing. The corridor carpets were dusty, with crumbs outside my bedroom door that were still there when I checked out. Our rooms were grubby, particularly the bathrooms. We were given one towel each. My colleagueās shower leaked and created a huge puddle on the bathroom floor every time she used it. On our first morning there were no tables available at breakfast, no cups, the self-service areas were chaotic. My colleague had to drink her tea from a cereal bowl. I asked to move to my colleagueās room when she left for the UK a few days before me as my room was so small it didnāt have a desk. She checked out in the early hours of the morning, I went out to some meetings and asked for the room to be cleaned. I got back at 6pm and it hadnāt been touched. I had to wait for almost 2 hours and when I was finally able to access the room again, I donāt think they had put clean linen on the bed!! A truly unpleasant stay overall. The staff in the breakfast room were harassed and the atmosphere was not pleasant. The only positive was the wonderful young girl who made the omelettes. She worked SO hard, but didnāt seem to get any appreciation.
