The Mahagiri Villa resort was quite upscale with a beautiful and serene atmosphere. We were upgraded to a larger villa with pool and they locked the 1 bedroom that we didn't pay for. The villa was gorgeous and spacious. We stayed only 2 nights and enjoyed all meals at resort, enjoying several in our own villa. All meals were delicious and well priced. Staff were consistently gracious and attentive. We will definitely consider returning to this resort.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Mahagiri Villas, especially the people. Every staff member was lovely and so friendly. The waiters, drivers, cleaners, gardeners, massage therapists and reception all took great care of us making our stay just perfect. The resort grounds and our room were beautiful and felt very safe and clean with plenty of space. We loved our private pool! The food was amazing with a range of yummy breakfast options. We enjoyed the culture night at the restaurant with local food and dancing. The spa was beautiful and the treatments were so relaxing. It was great to have friendly drivers like Andre and Wayan available for free to take us wherever we wanted to go and give us recommendations about places to visit or eat. The location was good with a 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants but in a quieter area, close to the market. Our cooking lesson with Gusti was a highlight of our stay! We’ll never forget it.

Wow!! What an incredible villla! We arrived in sanur after 6 nights in Ubud. We were warmly welcomed with an ice cold drink and tapas, then taken to the villa which blew our minds. It was huge, spotlessly clean and the pool and outdoor area, including an outdoor shower, were incredible. The property and pool were cleaned ever day and the mini bar restocked. The all inclusive breakfast delivered to the vill was delicious and plentiful. We also ate at the restaurant, which was reasonably priced and the food & cocktails were amazing! The villa is exceptionally private and quiet, but a 10 min walk takes you to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. We will stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to return to Bali.

Mahagiri was one of the most excellent places I have stayed in the world. They will greet you with professionalism and with exceptional customer service. The villa is beautiful beyond words and the cleanliness was a plus. Not only is your villa amazing but the restaurant on-site has so many delicious options (please try the fish soup!) and Alex is beyond what you expect from a host in a restaurant. If you are able to eat dinner, be prepared to be serenaded by the guitarist/vocalist. I will only stay here for my future stays in Bali. 10/10!
