The hotel was very nice but needs a refresh. First room safe didn't work, thermostat broken - freezing first night. Second room very nice but water pipe broke and flooded bathroom. Third room much better but room service forgot coffee most days. To be fair the hotel refunded us the taxes due and a free breakfast. Staff were great at getting us moved but preferred if we didn't have the problems. Hotel is in a good location for sites but dining in the area is very sparse. Due to Washington DC being a working city the prices seem to reflect expense account pricing. Even the airport was cheaper for beer and wine!!!

Walking distance to the National Mall and Whitehouse. Safe and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. About 70 dollars a night for valet parking (only option). Bring tips for valet and staff.

The hotel was nice. I liked the room and restaurant. The things to fix are that there was a sewage smell in the lower floor event rooms and the lobby was over perfumed to cover it up.
