What a gem of a spot. Simple accommodations, and very comfortable. It was exactly what we needed on our way to the Tetons after a long drive. Close to the town where you can grab a bite to eat. They had a fire going starting at 8pm!

We could tell that a lot of improvements have been made, but felt misled by the other reviews, so decided to leave a review. We came in from the west after dark and had trouble finding the place, even with Google Maps. The sign wasn't lit up, and the turn-ins are hard to see. Our room (108, I believe) was very small with no fridge or microwave and no room for opening suitcases, except on the desk (which already had a TV on it) or the bed. The bathroom was nice-sized. Very thin walls, so you can hear your neighbors. In reading other reviews, there must be some nicer rooms, and we must have missed out on the things that other people enjoyed about the place. I would not stay there again.

The property was lovely, very western style, cozy and comfortable. Anyway, we would just raise to the business owners attention that the AC unit was not working, so it was impossible to set up kind of a heat overnight. Thta was OK as we visited in August but we hope that they are going to improve the service throughout Fall and Winter.

Loved staying at the Chinook Winds. It is a great place with a very friendly staff and very cozy grounds. They offer cold pop in the office. I went looking for a Dr. Pepper (the only pop worth drinking) and they happened to be out at that time. I was disappointed, but then Joshua stepped in and saved the day by finding some Dr. Pepper in the back room!!! Thanks Joshua for making it an awesome stay!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to stay at!
