Our Stay In Sioux Falls, SD
We were quite disappointed about our check-in. The clerk was not very friendly at all, and we were concerned that our entire stay would be uncomfortable. However, it was very nice. I did ask about how to get to the convention center and was curtly told that he had no idea. Luckily, we had come a day early so we toured the city and found the fastest route there. The room was very small, but we didn't come to stay in the room so it was good. My husband and I felt that it was very clean. (My mom was a cleaning lady, so I notice these things.) We were satisfied with the breakfast, although we won't eat biscuits and gravy for a long time since we enjoyed them every morning. :-) All in all, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend Microtel Inn & Suites to others.

We literally checked into the room and were checked out within 10 minutes. There was blood all over the sheets and mattress of one of the beds and the glass headboard was smashed, need I say more

It was definitely an older hotel, with lots of wear and tear visible throughout. Towel rack in bathroom was missing a screw, with the other screw looking as if it was about to fall out. Bathroom sink did not have any type of drain plug so if you dropped something it was going to go straight down the pipes! Shower did have good pressure which was surprising. Overall, I would choose somewhere else to stay next time.

Some of the electrical outlets did not work in our room. Hairdryer didn't work. Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work and the shower head was spraying water onto the ceiling. Window seal was not clean and looked moldy. Updates obviously have not happened in quite some time to this facility!

Towels were old/scratchy, hair in the faucet handle in the bathroom, kitchen area poorly stocked, USB phone charger non-functional, linens were uncomfortable and the bed was hard. All breakfast options were sugar-laden, nothing healthy. Will not return.

The town was busy, so of course, we paid to dollar. The sink didn't work, there was an awful smell coming up from the sink. Ice machine didn't work. It wasn't clean. Breakfast was minimal.
