There was only one night stand and I had to put my stuff on the floor. The receptionist said thatā€™s what they do in some of the rooms. I was shocked to hear this. If theyā€™re two people in a room where do the hotel expect the person on the other side of the bed to put their stuff? On the floor?

Facility shows heavy use. Pool and spa were in rough shape. A room with a balcony was booked through Expedia, but I actually received a room without a balcony. When I brought this issue to their attention, They told me Expedia did not mention the balcony when they booked it. I would have to take it up with Expedia. Extremely expensive ($322/night) but I guess that's California. This was a $150 room elsewhere in the US.

I stayed on the top floor and there was some mechanical device on the roof above my room that made a very loud banging noise continuously. I kindly advised the front desk and they denied having any knowledge of it. There is no way that I could be the first to bring this to their attention. I stayed for 3 nights and got absolutely no sleep. Traveling for business is stressful enough without this aggravation! If they think fixing the issue is too expensive they need to consider the number of customers that will never return to any of their properties. This location is budget quality at premium prices. Shame on them!
