The facility is well maintained and staff is very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is walkable to and from Amtrak train station. There is a shuttle right outside that takes you to Disneyland

It was okay, but for a Hyatt, the facility is very plain, uninviting. Staff don’t seem to care about their jobs. Has a very dismissive attitude when approached. For example, we requested a late checkout. When the room key did not work at 11, I went to the front desk and the attend was nearly combative about not knowing. Strange! And this is not just one issue. There were others. Never has that experience in a hotel before.

An outstanding hotel when using Amtrak
This is an excellent hotel, completely consistent with my positive experiences when staying at a Hyatt. It is conveniently located adjacent to the Emeryville Amtrak station.

Everything was good except the remote control. It wasn’t working for us… we had to wait until the ice maker in the fridge. It took a few hours. The hospitality and the cleaning folks were amazing
