Wonderful Little Getaway for the weekend
My husband and I have stayed here several years for our annual fishing trip. The home is perfectly located to access many local launches, including one practically across the street. The home is so cozy and always extremely clean. The hosts definitely go above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcome.

Great place to stay if you’re fishing
The communication from the owners started prior to our arrival date and continued through the stay ensuring that anything we needed was taken care of. The house was very clean and while it’s nothing extravagant the updates that have been done are great and anything you need is provided. If you’re planning on fishing while staying this is a great location as the boat launch is across the road two houses away.

Cozy Stay in the UP
This home was perfect for our needs. It is ideally located right between Big Bay and Little Bay. It had a large driveway which was perfect for storing our boat. The home was extremely clean/spacious and the owners were not only wonderful at communicating but even left the most thoughtful note and welcome basket. Would most definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Very convenient to Fayette
This was a great place to stay to easily get to Fayette. There are a lot of nice upgrades to the house and it is very clean. After a long day, the overstuffed leather couch was wonderful - especially the foot rest! The snack basket was so thoughtful and a nice touch since stores are distant. The bathroom was a smorgasboard of shampoos and soaps. We were very happy for the first aid kit when we needed a bandage!

Really clean property and cute house. The hosts are very nice and communicative and left a lovely welcome basket with snacks. The house has pretty much anything you need, very well stocked. The boat launch to lake michigan is VERY close. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore kitch iti kipi, hiawatha forest, or fayette ghost town. Roughly an hour from pictured rock and lots of waterfalls. We loved our stay and can definitely recommend this rental.

Exceptional value for money with a very responsive host
I gave this property five stars because of the lovely host- who really was very responsive and considerate -and the value for money. The property itself is a little ramshackle (I found this charming, but if you need sleek modern comfort this place is not for you), a bit out of the way (which could be a bonus, depending on how you want to spend your time) and lacking a baking tray (of all things). But it was clean and spacious. It may not have a lot going on locally, but easy striking distance to Munising . We were in Munising the night before and spent over 3x as much to cram into one room. Two of the three tours we were doing in Munising were cancelled due to bad weather, and we were able to easily go back and do the things we had missed out on (45 minute easy drive each way). The kids also swam in Lake Michigan from a nearby beach and there is kayak rental and golf near by. I'm sure it would be a reasonable drive to other attractions as well so it would have been possible to spend longer.
