Modest accomodation in a good location. Car park (additional cost!) DOES NOT accommodate tall vehicles. Our unmodified 4WD was too tall and street parking was full of beachgoers. Shower is crammed into corner of cubicle. Wall of bedroom had visible cracks. ‘Complimentary’ breakfast was pleasing and staff were openly pleasant.

We loved our ocean view room at 1003 nice room very clean and comfy. But I would actually would have preferred a microwave rather than a safe. Also what mini bar nothing there but tea and coffee. Slept the lounge one night the lounge is very hard and the spare blanket is very rough and hot to use. Other than those things lovely stay wasn’t disturbed and staff were helpful.

I will be honest with you guys, the staff greetings and the environment of the hotel were good, Parking expensive, The lady cleaned our room On Tuesday she did a perfect job, The area arround good, The barister staff at palisdale restaurant On Wednesday morning she was very professional and generous, The bad things is the carpet in our room had a bad smell, the head shower in our room slow and noisy.

The property is getting a little outdated in some areas it needs to be re-freshened eg: carpet in hallways on each level is showing its time, could paint inside rooms, could do with new curtains and blinds, they also could provide bathroom accessories like toothbrush and toothpaste etc. Overall good stay and will return!

A leisure trip to Wollongong and decided to enjoy life by the beach at the Novotel. So glad we did! The rooms were big, bed is super comfy and the view is one of the best on the east coast. The reception team on check-in and out and they were all great to deal with. Will definitely stay again.
