Staff weren’t exactly effusive in the welcome. The whole place has a feel of a backpackers. Don’t like the smell, the thinness of the walls or the lack of power points near the bed. Cafe underneath is good but too busy and slow

Location was great and within walking distance of CBD. The older style shower head was better than the Ritz Carlton in Perth where I stayed a few weeks earlier. Though I paid extra and loved the view from the balcony (even through the tree) i wanted fresh air, not air conditioning which did look rather dubious. Not possible to leave door open early morning due to noise from cafe clients! Perhaps a word of warning on arrival??

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, beach and ocean pools. Although its an older building, the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the front desk was lovely. The cafe downstairs is perfect for breakfast, their smoked salmon bagels are exceptional... great coffee too! Will stay again
