Construction zone but still a great stay
Lots of construction which might bother some folks, but the workers were polite and the work was not intrusive. Our room was wonderful. The only drawback was that there was no wifi. Technically, we were given the password, but there was no signal. I didn't want to use our laptop, anyway, so it didn't bother me but my partner was disappointed. Had a kitchen, a nice bathroom, a huge bedroom, a large living room, comfortable sofa, pleasant balcony with chairs. I very much enjoyed our stay.

The property is being remodeled. Got a great upgrade because of that, suspect it will be very nice by next season. Internet was spotty first night and nonexistent second night. Possibly due to construction??

Not sure what was going on during the stay of other recent reviewers, but this place was completely fine. Yes, there is construction going on, but only during 8-6 when you should, frankly, be out and hiking by anyway. The place itself was clean, and having a kitchen, two rooms, and a pullout bed was way more than we were expecting. Iā€™d say the price was very good for what was essentially a suite. Iā€™d definitely come back

It was okay!
It was a decent place to stay. Forks doesnā€™t have a lot of options for lodging and I thought it was overpriced but I understand that is the area so was willing to pay it. The complex was being renovated so lots of construction traffic in the parking lot. The room was very humid and couldnā€™t figure out how to work the thermostat so was a bit uncomfortable. And we couldnā€™t dry out anything that we got wet during our 3 night stay because of that. And I was happy I brought my little portable fan or it was have been hard to sleep. Our little patio out back was weird as it was right up next to a hill so really not worth spending any time out there. The key cards were weirdā€¦one for the hallway to 2 rooms and then a different o e to our room. The floors creaked which we found odd being on the main level. But overall it was an okay place to lay our head at night after a long day of exploring.

Location relatively near the rain forest is the only thing going for it. Had there been anywhere else to stay, I would strongly recommend that this place be avoided.

They are remodeling the facility. That was loud at times and made parking difficult. It will be nice when its finished. It was nice having a kitchen but there were not any pots and pans to use.

Absolutely never again. Why in the world they would stay open with a full construction site going on is beyond me. When we checked the front desk lady didnā€™t even mention the construction or apologize or offer any discount. We had to ask the construction worker how to get to our room safely and had to navigate our way through all their gear. There was a guy spraying paint inches from our heads as we were going upstairs. Our garden view that I paid extra for would have been nice if there werenā€™t all the windows that they recently removed and the left over balcony the just tore down. I booked this hotel months ago and they just started construction 3 wks before we checked in. They never warned us this would be happening and they arenā€™t cheap. They would give no refund.

Very old property. For the price, I would have expected much better. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot but thats about it. The onsite renovations did not bother us but we did not feel very safe here.

This is more like an old set of apartment buildings than a normal hotel - you have a full kitchen complete with a big fridge, stove and microwave. Being out essentially in the woods and surrounded by the Olympic National Park it was very convenient to relax here, eat some food in the tiny town of Forks, and then go hiking all day in Olympic National Park. The staff was small and limited but super friendly and helpful every time we needed to talk to them, and the overall experience was super calming and relaxing. Keep in mind when we went they were still under construction renovating the rooms - so we were placed into a room that definitely needed the renovation haha. The closet door came off the track, there was a hole in one of the screens so those little gnat-like flies were all over the lamps, and the screen door seal was broken. With all those "bad" things it was still an excellent time and super relaxing. I can't stress how convenient and calm this place is. There's a small park right behind the tree line too and it was nice to have a beer at the picnic tables and watch the sun go down over the trees. It feels like you are in nature from the very start and I would 100% go back and it would probably even be better once the renovations happen. If you are coming to Forks Washington for the hiking adventures - stay here!!

Very outdated property. Looks like the 70ā€™s. Not worth the price we paid at all. They should close while they are renovating. Our room had hole under front door, mold growing above shower, the floor sounded as you walked on it, rust on the refrigerator and heating unit in kitchen. No air or fan, so stuffy at night. Closet doors are locked with a deadbolt so you donā€™t open them. No framing around window. Hard beds. Would not recommend. We rarely give a bad review but this one was rough.
