Pink Shell had a very relaxing vibe or you could be busy with all the activities. They are still doing outside work from the hurricanes. My only complaint is having one access point to the pools from all three buildings, hopefully that will be corrected once they are done with the outside.

The staff were great. Problems were more with amenities. First day there the octopool was closed for maintenance so the grandchildren were upset but they assured us it would be open the following day. Well the following day it ended up being closed as well. On the third day it finally opened around 11. Also on day 1 there was a water main break Ana so water for drinking was only available by boiling and so the following two days coffee was unavailable for breakfast. On the third day they started repairs on the beach using large and noisy construction vehicles. Overall in comparison to my last visit it was a flop. This trip was supposed to be a once in a lifetime family event and I was very much hoping for things to go off without a hitch. I understand that things happen and maintenance issues arrive but some sort of compensation in resort fees should have been offered
