During my stay when I told them something was wrong-like no elevator and they would not give us a bottom floor or that the TV was not working or that the check in clerk said we received free breakfast which we Did Not they would say because I purchased from Travelocity a 3rd party they could do Nothing! I was willing to pay extra to move to a bottom floor- Word of warning- if you purchase from a third party they treat you terribly I would never return A plus is the rooms were pretty clean

The hotel rooms themselves are standard third generation hotel rooms with window units, a bed and an efficiency bathroom the back but they were clean and the AC worked well. The property itself was very appealing and the staff might as well have thought they were working at a five-star hotel. They were courteous and helpful and I'm brand. This hotel is probably my favorite one around here because the little area it is in is very unique. It is like a big small town with lots of locally owned restaurants but very good food

Unique and peaceful
Initially, I was a little disappointed, thinking the lift room was smaller than it had looked online. And it also only had one bed, which could make things a little awkward in my situation. But it was my fault, as I had mistakenly booked the king bed loft room, not a 2 bed. This place does not have an elevator, but a spiral staircase (not steep). I ended up living this place. It has an old-timey feel to it, but not in a bad way. It was unique and comfortable, clean but still had it's historic foundation, which I appreciate. The front desk attendants were all wonderful and polite and friendly. The groundskeeper came quickly as he saw I was about to carry my (quite heavy) luggage up the staircase, and saved the day. If I ever come back to Kerrville, I will definitely stay here again. Overall, it was a great stay with an amazing staff.
