Found a large roach in the bathroom. Worse than that, the mattress needed replacing years ago. There was a clear intention on the side where the bedside table was. It was very uncomfortable.

Loved the beautiful grounds and pool. We sat poolside and relaxed for several hours. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, even changing our room when the upstairs room didnā€™t work out. Would definitely go back if weā€™re in the area.

Loved the hotel, it was clean and I noticed it had a dance hall and pub (didn't get the chance to try that). The swimming pools were all lovely and the grounds were clean and beautiful. There was air conditioning, a tv, clean bathrooms, and it was quiet. The bed was a little hard, but I didn't mind. Negative: I did have $20 of unexpected fees that Expedia/the hotel's website didn't tell me about. So a trip that should have been $100 was actually $120. It was still a great stay, but I would have chosen somewhere else if I knew about the extra fees.

It was ok for the price. Room was outdated. Lobby was nice. Door didnā€™t close well and stuck terribly when trying to open. The refrigerator was terribly noisy. The bathroom was super small and toilet was the size of one youā€™d find in an RV. Bed was comfortable.

I was concerned when I first saw the hotel, because it is an older property and it looks like it. However, we were pleasantly surprised with our rooms. It was VERY clean. It did have a musty smell, but it is an older building. It was just my husband and I, so the smaller room didnā€™t bother us. Considering I prefer staying at mid to high range hotel (holiday inn, Hilton) I would have no issues staying here again.
