This use to be a pretty nice hotel, with a great breakfast, over the years it has declined into a long-term motel. Needs lots of repairs to many to mention. Not worth the price anymore. Sorry to see.

This place should just be bulldozed. Absolutely filthy and more of a large crack house than a hotel. We checked in and were very concerned given the filthy entrance and lobby. And it only went downhill from there. We checked out five minutes after checking in. You would be better off just pitching a tent under a highway overpass. Also, the manager was nowhere to be found.

Very dirty. People were living in the hotel and it showed. Not a nice place to stay, especially for a vacation. Stay somewhere else. Mold in shower. Scuffs on walls. Baseboards of the room looked like they had never been cleaned. Guy was passed out drunk in his car with his door open in the parking lot. Photos online are not accurate. No one was ever at the front desk. Called and went down there two different times. It was so dirty we thought we brought home bed bugs.

Staff was nice, that was the only good thing. Dirty dirty dirty! Cockroaches, the floors were filthy , the bed sheets had stains, cracked floors, doors, walls. “Safety” lock doors at the entrances of the hotels did not work. The elevator felt like it was going to crash and then was down for a day. They allow pets and with the paper thin walls I could hear people’s dogs bark FOR HOURS throughout the night. My hair dryer broke and they had no replacements, trashes around the hotel was stacked up and never taken out. I wish I could have left but I already paid and was in town for a lecture for the weekend.

I used Expedia to reserve my room, i reserved the executive room, 400 sq ft with king bed. When I arrived they asked me if I meant to reserve a handicapped room and then told me the only room they had available was a small room with two double beds. It wasn't bad, and we were able to make it work, but it wasn't at all what I paid for. The breakfast was ok but if you aren't in the dining room when they put it out, forget about it because they aren't making more. My room was on the third floor and my wife and I thought the elevator ride up to our room was going to be our last, when the elevator reached the third floor it started bucking and groaning like the cables were about to snap. Scared the hell out of us! The following morning we went down and got coffee and took the "Elevator of Doom" back up to our room, and yes, it started jumping all over the place again, the coffee spilled everywhere and we both received burns on our hands from the coffee. So hopefully they get that fixed before a kid gets hurt on it.

I like that the parking area are lit and with cameras. Property is old and in need of some huge repairs and cleaning. Poor customer service. We asked for extra pillows and was told that someone will bring it over to our room but none showed up. The first room that was assigned to us was still dirty, has not cleaned yet by the house keeper. The second room still has used towel hanging behind bathroom door. Never again.

Don’t pick this hotel
Arrived to find an absolutely filthy hotel that is clearly or being maintained. We could not stay. Had to turn around and leave. Then we spent the next several days trying to get our payment refunded. That was difficult because no one would pick up the phone. The pictures on line seem like they were taken decades ago when the hotel first opened and before it fell into disrepair.

I reported on a dead cockroach smashed on the wall, unclean bathroom- I was assured while I was at a funeral this would be cleaned up and taken care of, but when I returned 10 hours later, it was not. I also reported the room smelled like cigarettes, and I heard men banging on doors outside my room.

The staff were very nice and all of the guests as well that I ran into. It is down a road that leads past the hotel. I saw a lot of individuals with backpacks walking by the property. I did not have any issues with anyone. It is beside the I75 so you do hear alot of traffic noises including sirens. My key card did not work and I had to get new ones 3 times. The room was not cleaned. I did not have toilet paper and had to get some from the front desk. It was conveniently located near North Florida Regional hospital and restaurants as well as the mall.

The place was shady. The entire area smelled of pot/marijuana. There were shady people just hanging out in the parking lot. The entrance to the third floor, despite saying to use key for entrance, had NO security lock and anyone can just walk in.

We booked the room 2 hours before arrival and the website showed at least 6 non smoking rooms available. When we got there at midnight, the front desk asked for my ID then told us that they are sold out even I showed them the Travelocity booking . When I asked him if he wants to cancel my booking, he told us that he needs to check on something. About 15 minutes went by, he came back and said they have a room for us. When we got to the room, the room smell so bad… because it is the last room and midnight, we doesn’t have much choice. My husband then saw a leftover joint in the bathroom floor and that explained why it is smelly… it is so smelly that it is on the pillow and mattress… I have to use the shower towel to cover my pillow so that I can sleep on the pillow without smelling it all night. I would not be back again…
