Hilton hotel in Galveston is very nice. Lobby is pretty modern with bar and cafe. Room was clean and cozy with good shower. Pool is excellent with bar and lot of chairs and umbrellas. And more over it was excellent view from room balcony on a ocean and pool. We had nice relaxing stay. Thank you Hilton

We have stayed here a few times and on this latest trip, we noticed they have completed quite a few renovations which have really beautified the interior and its amenities. This includes updated rooms which were also very nice and accommodating. The pool & swim up bar is always a great place to hang out at the end of the day. The beach is super accessible in that if you walk to the light by Kroger, there are ramps on the seawall that allow you to roll down wagons, coolers, etc. Speaking of Kroger, having it nearby is very convenient if you need to replenish any food or drinks during your beach hangout. Lastly, they have valet parking available for those who may need it or just appreciate that luxury. However, the parking lot is not very big and I would mostly recommend just paying for the self parking.

The room was in poor condition and had an overwhelming and unpleasant odor. The management staff was very helpful. I believe the owners may think it is okay to leave the property in poor condition because of the proximity to the beach. However, this is not acceptable. This is not the only hotel chain in Galveston that has neglected the hotel yet continues to charge outrageous prices due to the location.

Reception staff was horrible. Beyond disrespectful to my wife and myself on the phone. I am not sure I could rate this person any lower. Even the most deplorable Motel 6 wouldn’t even offer this person an interview to attempt to work there.

The property was awesome however the staff are horrible they need more training and customer skills especially in the check in process they give us bad room and she was in hurry when i went to the room we have to go back and changed it to king bed instead of double room . The check out was horrible staff did not know how to print receipt and charged us double in the parking . The manager did not help her to expedite the checkout!!!

The staff were friendly but my only issue were that the rooms were dirty the floors had dirt or crumbs. The restroom were also dirty shampoo bottle holder was broken and they left it on the sink. The towel had a black stain

We stayed at the property for 5 nights. Overall, the hotel looks good, we had a room with sea view. It looked beautiful, however the first night we checked in we found a big cockroach in our room, which was pretty disgusting. They came quickly and removed it for us, but it just made us feel uncomfortable. On the last day, we found another cockroach in the shower as well. So, I think the hotel could do better regarding pest control and cleanness in general. The pool was the best thing. It was spacious, clean and fun, we enjoyed it as a family. For anyone interested in working out, right now the gym is under renovation due to the hurricane. Breakfast is really good, they have different kinds of food and healthy options as well. The area around the hotel is very beautiful with the beach in front of the hotel. Overall, this place is beautiful and we would still come back to this hotel, if we were to visit Galveston again.

Great fun at resort style pool. Easy self park, friendly staff. Be advised if you are staying in a room on a lower floorfacing pool thatthe outdoor music is on until 11 p.m. each night. Towel machine very handy. Microwave on first floor and mini fridge in room nice.I

We enjoyed our stay, kids activities are needed !!
The Beds and pillows were very nice . The cleanliness wasn’t perfect , but nothing distasteful to report. The menu was overpriced and not that great. It would have been nice if there had been pool food waiters that walked around .
