Check-in: 3/5 - mediocre, specified twin beds and noted in special request but given a double bed. Front desk staff rectified this upon us showing the booking confirmation. Check out: 4/5 - checked bill was charged for another room’s item, front desk took it off bill. Would check bill before paying. Dining experience: 1/5 - Disappointing. Evening/night staff were unpleasant, not welcoming and dismissive. - Gentleman that took our order was very dismissive, didn’t wait for us to finish our order and walked off. - Long wait for food to arrive. - Our second dinning experience, order was incorrect bc again the same gentlemen waiter did not wait for us to finish ordering. Room & service: 2/5 - Large room - For the entire stay we had no cleaning service. - The fridge was not replenished with drinks or water. - No drinking glasses in room. - Washroom toilet seat was smaller than the toilet base. - Washroom had mold and smelt like sewer. We had to request airfreshener as the smell was unbearable. Location - 2/5 - not convenient to other restaurants or town, car required. - taxi service is minimal and expensive. Pro: Villa does have infinity pool and the scenery is nice.

Stunning reception and gallery clean and quiet, ideal holiday for someone who appreciate nature away from the everyday town Centre. Nice and clean swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous view of greenery.

Solid Hotel, Needs Improvement in Service
The breakfast could be better, but otherwise nice stay. Restaurant is actually really good, but somehow the breakfast was not good at all. Some of the staff had attitude, but we were able to manage. Love the views, the pool, and walks around the hotel.

The heart of Tuscany
This hotel is in the middle of paradise. It was a little hard to get too as the associated town is quite small. Especially since the hotel would not answer the phone. Very nice pool and property. Wifi was reliable.

Old hotel in a lovely location. Staff were ok (polite but not what I'd expect for a 4/5 star). Nothing to complain about per se but expected more. Spa is nice but lack of language made for problems with massage (our fault in assumption but we ended up with only 45 minutes for a paid hour massage. Food good rather than great, AC functional - just. BUT enjoyed the stay.

A few days in Tuscany
Amazing place to stay. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Rooms are on the smaller side but very comfortable. Wifi is not free as it says on some of the room information.

service attitude lacking....
Overall a quite nice-looking hotel, unfortunately the either grumpy or 'just not caring' service from front desk let's the overall experience down. Wifi was a constant headache (sometimes working, then not..), and nobody really tried to address it, rather find excuses (even the "clouds" where blamed.....)

This was a nice hotel and kept clean however the staff was very rude it was not located close to the train station and taxis were very expensive. If I stayed in the area again I would stay at a hotel that is a lot closer and the same price ...

The rooms and views were lovely! Upon arrival, it was not the best welcome we received while in Italy. Service at the restaurant was slow at both dinner and breakfast. They do make tasty cappuccinos though.

Do not, DO NOT stay at this hotel
If you are looking for anything close to 5 star or even 3 then this is not the place for you. Although the scenery is beautiful that's where your excitement will end!!! You drive up to br greeted by friendly staff and a concierge plus someone to take you and your bags to your room, think again!!!!!!!! No porter, drag your own bags, want a drink or snack in the afternoon, not possible and should you want enough light to shave or in my wife's case put on makeup, wrong yet again!!!! This third rate property is NOT what it seems to be. Also should you not want to hear my words and still go, DO NOT take a package that includes food. Breakfast is mediocre and dinner average at best. Guess what, most certainly would not return and please please heed my words. If anyone has seen the british series FAulty Towers then you gave arrived italian style when you check in here and at a cost!!!!!!!!!

the hotel is a resort hotel located in a beautiful area of Tuscany, about a 25 minute drive from Florence. the hotel is very luxurious, our classic room was well appointed and clean My wife used the spa facility for a massage Breakfast was very good.

Very quiet and relaxing.
On our initial arrival, I was a bit put off by the man at the front desk. We had a long drive from Rome, but we were excited about our stay in Tuscany. All the man had to offer us was "Name", "passports". There was no welcome of any sort with this man. However, as our stay continued, we were greeted warmly by other front desk personnel. Our waiter, Enzo, was top notch. He gave great recommendations on food and wine. I loved that we never saw a bill for anything while staying here, but it all was reconciled to perfection upon check out.

A relaxing hotel in the close to several wine yard
A perfect hotel if you want to have a quiet weekend near several wine yards. Our room was big and furnished with a double bed, two armchairs and a sofa. The staff was very helpful and worked hard to make us feel like important guests. The restaurant had a good variety of different meals and had several wines to offer, most of them from the Chianti area. If you want to run a way for a romantic weekend this is hotel is a good choise and the only drawback I can se is that it is placed several miles from a big city.

stayed two nights, dinner one evening was enough; okay as a base for enjoying wine country, but if your intent is to tour Florence, this is not what your looking for. Calling it a resort is pushing it.

The man at reception on our arrival didn't welcome us or even say hello. He snapped at us asking for our reservation and ordering us to give him our passports, I was so shocked I didn't reply and started looking in my bag.... As I did this he clicked his fingers at me an said "you to"! He never offered help with our bags, didn't tell us any info on the hotel. This was the worst experience I've ever had and would never recommend or return to this hotel.
