Wonderful Hotel
We checked in and the front desk rep was super friendly. Told us that they provided free breakfast and dinner. The dinner was a crockpot meal, but they also had fresh cookies (which my kids loved). Breakfast was nice as well. I couldn't give it 5 stars because i've stayed at a lot of nice hotels, but this is a wonderful hotel. If you are traveling through, you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Really really bad
This was one of my worst hotel stays. Warer barely flowed through the shower. Room looked very cheap. In fact it was clear that this room used to be a laundry or some other room not meant for people to stay in.. plaster on the room was peeling off. Manager was a teenager who also acted as the cleaning lady ( i felt bad for her )

Staff nice, noisy people kept talking in the hallway several times instead going in their room. Light shines in room window bright because curtains had holes in them & tore down some and not blocking out light at all.

Choose Hampton if you’re stopping in Hays KS.
It was nice to show up at midnight and find everything perfectly in order! Everything was clean in the room with no surprises. Staff was friendly even at that late hour and very attentive. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options to choose from. I highly recommend.
