Loved this place. Clean, comfortable room. Even the mattress was super comfortable. But there was a squeak that went on all night. That was the only downside. I’d still stay there again despite the squeak.

We reserved a suite because we were 13 people. Location was good, the place had a lot of space. It had everything you needed in the kitchen, dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, etc. Tv in every room. Lots of towels. It had a zoo close to the property where the kids had so much fun. The problem was the cleanliness. Spider webs all over the place. Jacuzzi seemed like was not clean enough. Pillows had some hard fillings that hurt one of us. Doors didn't close. They had an old pool table that got stuck and didn't work properly. Heating was half forced air that made a lot of noise, and half electric in each room. It would have been great if they paid attention to these details.

Everything was pretty good. Couldn’t get some channels on TV and there were a lot of freezes and glitches. Had to go get ice from office area. Would be nice to have ice machine in more convenient area. The electric fireplace was a nice addition and the refrigerator was nice and cold. The animals behind did “chatter” at times but it wasn’t annoying. Seemed like construction was ongoing with equipment all around. Overall a nice inexpensive stay if you are seeing attractions nearby. We visited Falling Waters and it wasn’t too far away. At checkout there were 2 baby kangaroos being fed behind the counter which was a fun watch. The animal attraction is right next to the lodge and seems to be a pull for visitors although we didn’t go we could have gotten in for half price because we stayed at the lodge.

Fantastic log cabin stay
It was amazing people great the owner and the Manager and owner were wonderful. The room was extremely nice, very quaint and log cabin field without being out in the sticks. Also, the gift shop is amazing. Handcrafted gifts at the employees make themselves very talented people. We very much enjoyed our time there we go back just to hang out in the zoo. Oh my gosh, it was great.

We had a great time staying here; beautiful location and room, very responsive heating and cooling, and great staff. We also loved the two chairs outside of each room to have morning coffee with that beautiful view!
