The ceilings/roof were leaking water. They had several buckets on the floor. The room keys kept deactivating. The fire alarm went off at 2:00 AM and we could not re-enter the building until 3:30 AM with no explanation as to what occurred. The café wasn’t open when it was supposed to be. The gym facility was missing several pieces of equipment and a large amount of equipment did not work. The only saving Grace was at the staff were nice

You had better love mold and mildew
Condemnation of this hotel and destruction shortly thereafter would be a fitting ending for this disastrous place. I booked a five nights day and unfortunately had to leave after the first night and spend 2 hours of my trip the next morning trying to get my money back. I am not accustomed to this treatment and had to inform the night manager of what the word guest means because clearly this hotel has no clue. Upon entering the building itself one will smell a musky, dank and moldy aroma. I was led to a room that was so intensely overcome with mold and mildew that it was unbearable and I had to run out. After complaining to the front desk I was given a second room but it too smelled terrible. I decided to stick it out because it was late in the evening and at this point convinced that I would just get a third filthy, smelly room. I went to the front desk in the morning and canceled the balance of my visit and then demanded a return of my money for the night that I spent there. I was in told that you cannot leave without paying since you in fact stayed in the room. I explained that it was 11:00 at night and had nowhere to go and therefore I stayed in this moldy room. This argument went back and forth for an hour and a half until someone showed up claiming to be the manager and he returned my deposit. It is a miserable hotel in every sense of the word including the personnel. They're unhelpful, ignorant and of no use. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Horrible! Shame to even call this place a “hotel” when all you feel is a motel atmosphere but for double the price. The whole place is carpet from god knows how many decades ago so you have dirty carpet smell all over the property. Everything was falling apart & the explanation I recieved was that it’s “under renovation”. Fire alarm went off at 2am & did not shut off for hours due to a thunderstorm so I checked out earlier than I wanted to but when I made my way down to the lobby you heard water dripping all over the lobby with buckets set up to catch water all throughout the lobby which was the icing on the cake. Would never even consider staying here again!!

Hi, my stay at the Radisson was not pleasant at all. The rooms were very dirty and I got bit by bed bugs. The rooms smelled like a smoker's roof, which gave me a bad cough from the smoke. The bathroom smelled like urine and the bathtub had paint peeling. I got locked out of my room several times, and when I went to the front desk, there was no one present. I also, think they had a bunch of traffic coming in and did not look like legal activity going on. People were coming in and out, and a bunch of smokers and marijuana users in the front and back of the hotel. I felt unsafe and had to check out a day earlier and lost out on my money because i checked into another hotel. I was very disappointed with the stay and was so happy to be visiting NY the stay kind of put a damper on my plans

The hotel lobby was being renovated. Our room was not. The bathroom door is falling apart. There was no exhaust fan in the shower. The mattress needs replacing. Hopefully, these things will be attended to soon.

My stay at The Radisson in Hauppauge, NY, from August 9th to 11th, 2024, was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, our key cards didn’t work, and I waited 30 minutes at the front desk with two other guests before a dismissive staff member finally appeared. He claimed taking out trash was more important than assisting us. The hotel’s lock system was confusing. We were first given swipe keys that didn’t work and then tap keys that wouldn’t unlock the exterior doors. We had to rely on another guest to let us back in after an event. The room itself was a mess—humid, smelling of urine, and clearly unclean. The carpets were unvacuumed, and the bathroom was filthy, with grime on the counter, hair and dirt on the floor, and a chicken bone under the trash can. The mattress was stained and poorly covered, and the TV was so fuzzy and static-filled that it was unusable. Housekeeping was another issue. They knocked hourly starting at 9:30 AM, even after we requested no service. Oddly, they stopped once we left the room, leaving it as dirty as when we first arrived. The hotel seems severely understaffed. Once a nice place, it's now in poor condition, with stained carpets, dirty walls, and barren common areas. To top it off, we couldn’t find a functioning ice machine. This hotel has potential but is in desperate need of better management. I can’t recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.

if this hotel is not in bankruptcy it should be. No live TV in rooms; room thermostats dont work; automatic door to hotel are defective; ceilings leak, check in desk is screwed up; amount they bill does not match Orbitz quotes; air ducts are full of dust 'bulbs need to be changed; bathroom fixtures need attention This place is terrible. This place gives Radisson a bad name

Based on some other recent reviews, our stay was not that bad. We got lucky and must have gotten a recently renovated room. Most things were new. Still, the light over the table was hanging by a wire, the toilet bowl had mold, no fridge where there clearly should have been one. The bed linens were clean and white. The lobby area desperately needed updating or a little TLC at the least.
