The property is definitely showing its age and does not have an elevator. The room seemed fairly clean but had a smell to it. Beds were okay but pillows were not. There were towels hanging on a hook in the bathroom which appeared to be previously used, not with the clean, folded ones on the rack above the toilet. The tissue holder had an empty box in it. Housekeeping staff started banging around, using the loudest vacuum known to man, having a non-stop, loud conversation just outside our room at 7am on a holiday Monday. They knocked on our door and unlocked it to open simultaneously without waiting for any kind of response; if we didn't have it latched they would have walked right in. Complimentary breakfast was extremely limited and the room was a mess with no-one tending to it. We will not choose this hotel for any future stays in Hinton.

The beds were very comfortable and convenient. Although a hot tub or pool would have been a welcome addition, their absence did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

There was bugs around the light in the washroom and hairdryer had quite a bit of hair from the previous guest on it.

A nice property and a very friendly front of house. When we stayed they were chock full of the service crews who were helping with the forest fire recovery in Jasper. We were lucky to find such a nice spacious room in this case due to the recovery efforts, and we remain very grateful.

My family have lots of luggage and we were put on the 2nd floor, there was no elevator. the front desk clerk told me there WASN'T MANY STAIRS. After packing 5 suitcase and 4 totes up 21 stairs our room was at the end of the hallway. I wasn't very impressed

There are other hotels around the area. I would not recommend this hotel if anyone has a lot of luggage because of the stairs. Also, the breakfast doesn't have lot of options, one day only fruit and bread was available.

One night stay on way to Edmonton. Older hotel that smelled of old cigarettes or something. Room, bedding and towels were clean. Front desk staff friendly. Beds were old with plywood bases. Wouldn’t stay here again just because of the odour in rooms and hallways. Woke up with sinus congestion, possibly from smell.

It's a small hotel but well-maintained. Breakfast was much better than expected if you eat meat and eggs. Not many options for vegetarians/vegans. The reception area could do better. I came very early to check if they could allow early check-ins, but nobody was at the reception until someone showed up after 10 minutes.
