Friendly staff, great location-on waikiki beach and 5-10 minute walk to tons of shops, restaurants, entertainment with small abc store and starbucks onsite. Can see the Hilton friday night fireworks from here. Alwsys free entertainment in late afternoon and evening. Has a restaurant with gorgeous view-water literally comes up to window. Nice pool, 3 hot tubs, extended lobby with various places to sit. Car rental place , activuty drsk and small cultural center on site . Get alot for your money. I love this hotel. From the moment we walked in the door at registration to the ABC store to the Monkeypod and the the Grille to the room, and all the staff and services, Excellent. Aloha and Mahalo. We will return to this hotel again and again and again. Mahalo.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was recently refurbished and it shows. Everything is immaculate. Staff is excellent. The food was surprisingly delicious. It's literally right on the beach (at least what remains of it), and is close to great shopping and dining. I'd come back again.

The hotel was on the beach, no street to cross, just walk from the hotel to the beach, it was fantastic. The hot tubs and the pool were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is family friendly. There was daily evening entertainment, onsite restaurants and valet parking. This hotel is awesome. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Good food at in house restaurants and convenience of Starbucks and shops on site. One day construction started at 8am and reverberated throughout hotel. Ruined our sleep and morning. Desk manager addressed another unrelated issue and took good care of us

The property is exactly what you’d expect. It ‘s not a luxury property - but it delivers for a more mid- priced Honolulu option. I was working this trip - so I didn’t need beach or pool access .. but the food at Monkeypod is good and the location is good.

I thought I had book my room at just under $300 When we checked I. The room was over $350 a night and the room was OK but hardly worth the extra money. I tried on 4 occasions to use the Hotels.com chat just to get cut off. Don’t think I will use Hotels.com again. Would stay at the Outrigger for about $250 a night considering the construction started at 6 am in the morning..

Next to the beach. Views of the ocean are breathtaking. Breakfast is good but nothing special. Typical scrambled eggs, sometimes sausage, others bacon. Fresh fruit is good. Coffee is good. Not too many options of bread, bagels. Overall it’s good. What I did not like is that one evening they closed the area next to the pool for a private event, making the access to our room difficult. Also too much noise.
