The bed was sloping to the left, so the matrass was not flat it was worn badly on the edge, The air co unit was switching on and off and it was very noisy, very hard to sleep. Very disappointing overall.

Thankful for the ease and convenience this property provided. If you are into shopping, this one is in the heart of it all! Very clean and modern beachy look, I liked the appeal versus a stuffy 5 star location. It is very walkable to restaurants and many shops. The staff were all friendly. We were grateful to have our bags held after checkout until evening due to a late flight.

We loved our time here! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect. It was cozy and we had a nice little view of the beach. It was nice to have a coffee and breakfast place in the lobby. Everything else we needed was in walking distance. Great hotel and we hope to stay there again when we go back to Hawaii!

Nice facility, although it was being upgraded and so we missed out on the new features. But the room was nice, maid service was slow at times. Very close to shopping and attractions. The pool area was small, could use more lounge chairs. It is a short walk to the beach for those seeking sand and sun. The Cafe was adequate for a quick bite for breakfast or poolside. The Moana Brewing Co. restaurant was overrated, not impressed by the meal service or food quality. My wife was up 1/2 the night after the Maui Maui fish meal. Maybe it was just a bad night. Very pleasant front desk staff. All in all, I would stay here again.

First, there was a system glitch-possibly related to how hotels.com handles bookings, causing us to placed at the Beachcombers instead of the Reef, which we clearly booked. but the end we received the confirmation for Beachcombers instead. The two stars are purely for the location, as it is conveniently located in the middle of busy and commercialized kalakaua Ave. However, that's where the positives end. The hotel rooms are outdated with poor shower drainage system. Worse part of the experience was paying $50 for valet parking, only to find severe scratch on the driver's side door. The staff were extremely laid-back and dismissive about the situation. We will not return nor recommend this hotel. We Hope Hotels.com can better distinguish between the Reef and Beachcombers in the future.

The pool area is really small but clean. The whole area of Waikiki is VERY expensive. Probably will not go back.

Top Notch Hotel
This hotel is in the middle of the strip everything is walking distance. The Cheesecake Factory is across the street, so many restaurants you can walk to, there's an outside mall with so many restaurant choices and shopping stores. The beach is across the street and it's beautiful. This location is honestly top notch. The staff at the hotel were amazing, cleaning staff came by everyday to clean our room. I was very happy with my stay and I will definitely stay here again.

Great property, very central. The staff was so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is smaller but perfect for the kids. The coffee shop is excellent, good variety, convenient and delicious. Would definitely stay again!
