Filthy. Stains on the bedspread. Spiders hanging from the ceiling. Bathtub patched in several spots. Shower curtain rod falling down. Bugs in bath tub. Staff was nice though. I've stayed in worse dumps, but this was close to the bottom.

Great stay, good location, friendly staff.
Excellent location close to all gas, restaraunts all within walking distance. The shower was hot with great pressure, but the towels were rather thin and scratchy. The bed was comfortable and the room very good. Breakfast was excellent with sausage and eggs, fresh fruit and all the standard muffins/bagels/cereral, etc. The pool and hot tub hours were awesome 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. That was a nice bonus.

There were no towels in my room. The breakfast room was cramped and they ran out of coffee. Parking was difficult and the area around the hotel was dirty. I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting my daughter and her family, but I don't know if I will do so again.

Travel Nurse testing out different lodging accommodations and La Quinta (Plattsburgh) has by far been one of the best stays during my contract. Courteous staff, clean room and free HOT breakfast. I loved it! Thank you.

The building is in terrible condition - siding is missing on outside, scuffs, dings and leak marks on the inside. The elevator jerks around and the inspection certificate was not posted. Inside is very run down. Breakfast room too small to handle the busload of tourists who were all trying to get breakfast at once, leaving neither room nor enough food for the other guests. Corporate needs to intervene, you shouldn’t have your brand on this facility.

The air conditioning was not working, and I had to wake up in the middle of the night. Compared to a number of rooms there is not enough space for the breakfast area. It is time to change the floor carpets now. We didn't enjoy our stay but were there only for one night so we have adjusted.

First time back at La Quinta in a few years. Was always our go to place. Was very disappointed to see under construction no mention on Hotels.com. The room smelled musty and outdated although beds were comfortable (not pillows). In need of a major overhaul especially given the price we paid. The 4th floor felt like the roof was coming off with the 50 mph winds no sleep. so much for a short getaway from Montreal.
