The hotel could use updating. The location is very convenient and the room was comfortable but could use updating. The bed was very comfortable. Jovan was extremely helpful when we arrived late at night. He is a very cheerful and friendly employee.

The property was in great disrepair. Rotting wood, falling cement. There were bags of garbage outside of every door and overnight they were broken open by animals, still left by the staff. The unit itself was dirty - the doors streaked with dirt, the kitchen fan unusable, the tub moldy. Guests were outside smoking a variety of things which caused us to have to walk through smoke to get to our car. We left after the first night, feeling unsafe to stay in this place, confirmed after reading a prior review. There was one staff at the front desk, no evidence of others on the property.

Rugs were stained, the room smelled unclean, and there were dead bugs in the light fixtures. Only 3 towels were in the bathroom but our reservation was for a family of 4, which was noted when we booked to room. Requested additional towels and was given an hard time but finally provided one more.

The customer is always wrong apparently.
When I checked in, i was handed a slip of paper listing the amenities of the hotel, which mentioned laundry. So when I woke up before my family, I decided to get some laundry done. I had enough quarters to do the wash load, but not enough to dry also, so I asked at the front desk for quarters and was told they didn't have any change and that I should go ask at the convenience store. So I did. The convenience store let me get $2 in quarters. So I thought I'd be alright, except that even after a full run, the clothes in the dryer will still only halfway dry. So I went to the front desk again to tell them I had gotten all the quarters I could but that my clothes were still wet. The receptionist insisted that the hotel was in no way connected to or responsible for the laundry room... despite being physically connected to the hotel, being listed on their amenities, and branded with the same cutesy signage as the hotels other offerings. Another associate picked up on how dismissive and uncaring the one receptionist was being and first went to her car to check for quarters and then offered to let me dry my clothes in the hotel's dryer. But I just don't understand how they can make it look like the washer and dryer are in every way a part of their operations... unless there's a problem. This really should't have been a big deal, but the level of condescension and dismissiveness from the one receptionist was pretty unbelievable.

Serious Sanitary Issues: 3 LIVE COCKROACHES
I am deeply disappointed and distressed by my experience at this hotel. The room I was given had a significant cockroach infestation and severe sanitary issues. Additionally, there was a pervasive smell of smoke upon entering the room. When I reported these problems to the front desk, I was informed that no alternative rooms were available. Consequently, I had to find another hotel around 9 PM and vacate the premises. Despite my serious request for a refund, the front desk staff initially refused to accommodate my request. It has now been two weeks, and I have yet to receive the promised refund. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to its serious health and hygiene issues, as well as its poor customer service.

We stayed for a night on a stopover in Burlington and we were traveling with a four month old. The location of the hotel is convenient, parking is ample, and the place has a decent range of amenities (pool, gym, and free breakfast). We had a baby monitor which we could not use because the WiFi was not password protected (a requirement for many baby monitors due to security). Most hotels anticipate this requirement and have alternative WiFi networks with passwords for those who need them. The drip coffee machine had packets of coffee available but no filters and I was too tired and short on available time to wait for them to bring it to our room or for me to go need to pick it up. The shower did not drain properly at all which is one of my pet peeves at a hotel and kind of gross. I have no issue with this not being a five star hotel, I wasn’t expecting that, but I see no reason why these inconveniences should exist and could not be easily fixed.
