Wish we got to stay longer! We stayed in the Royale Suite and it was beautiful. We had booked another hotel, which was the complete opposite of how it was promoted and found this last minute. Bed was comfortable, they had a humidifier, it felt like an Airbnb without all the hassle. They had free paddle boards and kayaks for guest, and you can go to the resort next door and use the there amenities as well. Will definitely return!

We aren’t picky travelers, however, the room was in need of serious repairs. The shower bar was broken, door handle to the outside was broken and kept falling off, poorly patched holes in the wall, I stepped on two different pieces of glass that got stuck in my foot ( we didn’t break anything). We were given the incorrect code to get in so we had to call the after hours number. There was nobody onsite to ask questions, food truck wasn’t open, bathroom set up was very weird and shower was awkward. Smelled funny.

Nice location, room was nice but bed was extremely firm, left me sore each morning. Tv on a weird spot where it was difficult to see while lying back in bed. Water pressure was very low and water never got warmer than "lukewarm" which made showering unpleasant. Property did have some amenities like washer/dryer at no cost and in room microwave, keurig, dishwasher and refrigerator which was nice.

Our only qualm with the stay at Azul was slow or no response. Asked for possible late checkout with no response. Lighting was dim at best during the evening. Be informed that if you arrive during the evening's hours the lighting is poor along walkways. Firm bed, but comfortable. Very clean and nicely appointed, save for there only being one wine glass in the cupboard for wine drinkers. Plenty of fresh towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Keurig with plenty of coffee and tea. Also water and soda provided in the fridge.

We stayed at Azul for our honeymoon in September. It was so beautiful & quiet (glad we risked it even in hurricane season). We loved the vibe as a small property with private rooms & the keyless entry is convenient. We definitely could overlook the very small things that could use updates & I only really paid attention to this from other reviews. The charm outweighed those & we’d definitely plan on a return trip. The staff I was also nice on our very few interactions.

This property is the perfect spot for a quiet vacation! Lights up for the evening and a great view of the sunset! I was there for five days and loved every one! If you’re into diving I highly recommend Amoray Dive Resort next door for your diving addiction!!!

The Azul Del Mar is extremely secluded which is nice, a bit outdated, but was still a nice stay. The floors were not swept when we entered the room, we saw no staff when we arrived because it was a self check-in process. We eventually saw a non-speaking housekeeper, but that is the only person we saw in 48 hrs. Key Largo is a humid environment, but the unit smelled a bit musty. Maybe a humidifier would be beneficial. The fridge had drinks for us, bed was nice, we ran out of washcloths and had no way to get any. Overall we had a good stay, but improvements are needed to make our stay a bit better.
