Definitely not worth the price for how old the building was, not sure about the rooms inside the hotel but the rooms that only had outside access definitely looked more like a motel and very run down. Paid my trip in full on website and was charged over $800 when I arrived thankfully the issue was resolved but it was a big enough problem to put a stop to some of our plans. Definitely wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend the place. There are condos/apartments around the hotel that are right on the beach as well and I would definitely try that before this hotel again.

The room was filled with mold due to the moisture they kept the rooms so cold. Which I fine, I get it I love it cold! But they need to watch the condensation it caused the lamp shades, walls and curtains to mold. Other wise the staff was super friendly , the place was quiet and I wouldn’t mind staying again!

No quality with this Quality Inn. -Broken hairdryer -Stains on the walls of the rooms and missing paint on walls / ceilings -Cockroaches EVERYWHERE outside of the rooms -Lights that don't work in the hallways -Hair on the shower wall (THAT WASN'T OURS!!!) -Complimentary soap bar in room WAS ALREADY OPENED Luckily we just needed a quick shower and a bed to sleep in for the night. Was not worth the price we paid for the room :( We definitely did not bring any of our luggage in!!!

The hotel condition is really poor. The corridors were in very bad condition and very dirty. The room was very dated and furniture and appliances broken. The hair dryer plug was falling apart. It rained a little the 2nd night and water got in under the front door(we where on 2nd floor). We informed the front desk but it was not cleaned. For the price we payed it was a dump. I have never stayed in a worse hotel. Caution to everyone don't go by the photos posted on the websites.

In order to check in I had to use a kiosk that connected me to someone out of country instead of talking with an actual front desk clerk. I had to scan my license and insert my credit card and then wait 8 min for the person on the other end to confirm my reservation. It seemed very insecure and sketchy. Once inside our 1st floor room it was dank and moist with dirty floors. The parking lot had lots of cigarette butts and litter throughout. After returning from the beach my key card didn't work and i required assistance.

We booked 2 rooms for most of the week. Upon check in, one room had broke fridge and terrible smell. We were moved to 2nd room. Disgusted by seeing a couple roaches in room on 2nd day. Doors were hard to open/close. Staff was friendly, housekeeper was decent but cleanliness was poor overall.

The hotel is very run down and needs a refresh. However, people don't stay in their rooms at the beach. It is very convenient and on the beach and the staff are amazing. Big shout out to Claudia at the front desk. She is very customer focused and friendly. The breakfast could definitely be improved; however again people go to the OBX to be on the beach.

The outside of the motel was absolutely filthy. There were roaches. The inside of the rooms were superficially cleaned. The beds were at least clean. The refrigerator was wobbling . Couldn’t even open the door without the refrigerator coming out the microwave inside was disgusting the light for the balcony kept shorting out.

The pool was not open when it was supposed to be. The front desk wasn’t manned properly. My child woke one morning with a huge roach or water bug on them as he slept. Very disturbing. We had to leave in an emergency and they were helpful and refunded a night for me. I didn’t ask them too but then they charged me again meaning I was very short of money to make the 5 hour trip home to face our emergency. Not a nice thing to have happen.

This place is a nightmare. Room was dirty. Kids asked to sleep in the car or at the beach because our room smelled so bad. Electrical taped doors, bathroom mirror was not cleaned.Im. It even sure the room was cleaned in months. The dirt and dust in the bathroom and floors was absurd. Can hear your neighbor. Couldn’t get out of the place soon enough. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Check in was difficult. My husband was standing in line at the desk to check in then directed to a virtual assistant a few feet away. The assistant was very hard to understand and the screen kept freezing. Finally, we get to the end and he quoted an amount higher than what we expected to pay but the assistant told us that would be refunded. We asked again about that charge and he assured it would be refunded. Once we got into the room and settled in, we discovered the tv remote did not work, the refrigerator was not cold and never did get that cold so we kept things in our cooler. Later I needed to warm something up but the nicrowave did not work. The second night we were there we could not sleep well because there was a beeping alarm noise in the room next to us. Apparently there was noone in that room. I assume an alarm was set for the middle of the night. We were awakened every few minutes because of that. This continued the next night. I reported it to the front desk. Our ac leaked which apparently every ac leaked and water ran into our room so our floors were constantly wet. Not safe. We did get another remote that worked, I didn't worry about the microwave or fridge because we made out without them. The free breakfast was good, room service was good, pool was nice. Upon check out we were not refunded the sur charge. We explained that we were told it would be refunded but the front desk attendant said no. We won't stay here again.

I was hopeful the hotel Would be cleaner and updated from the last time but I was wrong. We will be finding a new hotel to stay in next year.

Service was good, problem with some cockroaches I caught walking around and also there were issues with drainage in sink and tub

Old oceanfront hotel. We booked because it was available and pet friendly. Switched as soon as we could move up to a better hotel. None of the rooms face the ocean. It is right next to a great beach access. Rough clientele. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms fairly large and had linoleum floors so easy to clean up sand and spills. Large bathroom with nice shower heads. But everything on the edge of repair, mold, leaks, etc. Wouldn’t stay there again.
