The hotel was good for the price we paid, but I donā€™t think Iā€™d stay again. There was no pleasant greeting on arrival or explanation of how to use the kids club, what time the cafe opened etc. There are trampolines for the kids but one had holes in and neither zips worked which made them unsafe. Gates were often left open at the front of the resort and itā€™s on a busy road, so you couldnā€™t relax if your kids were around playing, they could also easily head to the pool and fall in. The pool is too small for the size of the resort and the amount of families that were staying and there is no shallow part, so our 2 year old couldnā€™t stand. It is in good spot for Fishermanā€™s Village and a short taxi away to Chaweng and another amazing beach we found called Ban Tai. We certainly didnā€™t have a bad stay, just an average one. It thinks itself to be more than a 3 star but itā€™s not.

Highly recommended
We stayed for 5 days and from the moment we arrived we wished we were staying for longer. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in whilst in Thailand. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, I had an English breakfast each day and everything was perfect. The two pools were always clean and have the comfiest pool loungers. The whole resort is very clean and well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe King room which was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. We are so happy that we discovered the D'Anna Resort and will definitely be going back, but for much longer next time!

This place is a rip off. It calls itself bungalow but is a wooden hut. There are stray animals in front of your porch, ants inside as it's all wooden. Poor infrastructure. And is not cheap. Doesn't look safe as well. Very disappointed. We left after 1 night. And of course, they offer no refund.

My new home away from home
I loved my stay at D'ANNA resort and would absolutely recommend staying here. The NEW private bugolows are amazing!! Very clean and very spacious with a back varanda and blazing fast WiFi....might be better than my own house. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes walk from the beach or fishermans village. Even though it is so close to everything, the property is very peaceful and seems miles away. Dennis and his staff seem to have thought of everything but are always available if needed. I will be back as soon as possible and would recommend you stay here when visiting Samui.

Nice accommodation, close to Fishermanā€™s Village.
Great place to stay if you wish to be in a quiet spot but within a very short distance to Fishermanā€™s Village. I had the double deluxe which are the modern brick buildings, with all the modern cos incl kitchenette with large refrigerator and microwave but no cooking or eating utensils so bring plate, knife, fork if you wish to eat in. Electric kettle , coffee supplied. Nice grounds and two swimming pools make this the ideal spot to stay for a few nights or less for families, couples or singles. Singles can opt for the cheaper wooden huts (still with air-con) if preferred which are not as nice but just as good quality for your dollar.

Fabulous stay at Dā€™Anna Resort. I took a Deluxe double, which was new, modern, clean and spacious with wardrobe, full length mirror, new tv, very comfy ks bed, also comes with a kitchenette (although no kitchen utensils) but with microwave and big refrigerator. Hot and cold water with great shower in roomy bathroom and air con. Two swimming pools in nice grounds, away from noise, so quiet. Friendly owner and staff made my stay the best, I often come to Koh Samui and this has been my best choice yet at very comparable rates. D'anna is a fabulous place to stay. Spotlessly clean, amenities like 4 pillows and a fabulous kitchenette, comfortable bed, beautiful furnishings,fast wifi, beautiful and inviting swimming pools there are two, beautifully kept grounds and super nice owners who are so helpful and really go above and beyond. They are on site at all times and available for you.The staff is wonderful and always do everything with a smile. The location is fabulous with a 2 minute walk to Fisherman's Village where there are numerous restaurants and shops. The beach is also just a short walk. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back!

Rigtig godt hotel 100 meter fra indgangen til Fishermanā€™s Village. VƦrelserne er utrolig flotte og i god stand. God seng. Pool omrĆ„det er rigtig pƦnt. Morgenmaden er okay. Eneste minus er at det er ud til en stor vej. Dog er der ikke larm fra vejen.

Cet Ć©tablissement est situĆ© a l'entrĆ©e de Fisherman's village. Les chambres de type studio avec kitchenette sont tres propres tout comme la salle de bain. La petite piscine et les bains de soleil sont egalement tres propres. Le point noir c'est l'accueil qui est moyen et le check up depart et arrivĆ©e qui est trop long. Une heure d'attente pour trois chambres !!! Le peit dĆ©jeunĆ© est dĆ©sastreux !!! Pas de cafĆ© machine en panne, breakfast impossible de 08h00 a 09h00 malgrĆ© avoir prĆ©venu la rĆ©ception la veille qui ont toit de meme pu nous faire une omelette, sans bacon encore congelĆ©, aprĆØs avoir Ć©tĆ© acheter des oeufs a l'issue de notre commande !! Du jamais vu en ThaĆÆlande !!!

Wir waren 5 Tage in diesem Resort. Ok, wir waren in der Zeit des Tropensturms ā€žPabukā€œ dort regelrecht eingesperrt, aber dafĆ¼r kann das Hotel ja nichts. Aber wir hƤtten uns Ć¼ber Informationen gefreut, niemand hat etwas dazu gesagt. Genau das ist auch unser Problem gewesen, der Besitzer und das Personal sind sehr abweisend und distanziert, als wƤre man nicht willkommen. Beim FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck waren sie sehr Ć¼berfordert, keine Struktur. FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck ist fĆ¼r Thailand sehr teuer, man hat nur 200 Baht inkl. Kein GetrƤnk bzw. Wenn man mehr mƶchte muss man extra zahlen. Der Pool ist winzig! Die guten Sachen, die Anlage ist neu und hĆ¼bsch. Die Deluxe Bungalows (Vorsicht es gibt auch Bambus Bungalows, bei der Buchung darauf achten) komplett neu und sehr sauber. Bett sehr bequem. Lage ist auch top! Restaurant rechts zwei Minuten, gĆ¼nstig und gut, im Hotel zu teuer. Fishermanā€˜s Village 5-10. Wir wollten verlƤngern, aber die Stimmung hat nicht gepasst.
