The location is very good for going to pretty much anything in the area. The only complaints I had were 1. Don't be near the pool, way too loud and kids were obnoxious banging on doors etc. 2. Didn't have a very good breakfast on Thursday, no meat or eggs (besides gross already pealed hard-boiled eggs). Was good the rest of the stay.

The best? No. Decent enough? Yes.
Checked in at 4, only one room (of 2) was ready. Front desk agent was able to get us a room though, but it took checking in longer than it needed to be. First room had no A/C (it was near 90 out) and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Was able to get a new room, fortunately. Property is in okay condition, and seemed clean, but there was an odd odor throughout, I couldn’t put my finger on it. If your room is an adjoining one: you will hear your neighbors pretty clearly. In my case, it was a screaming toddler from about 9-1130pm. This isn’t the hotels fault: but its price point attracts groups, and this weekend it was about 100 screaming preteen girls in town for a soccer tournament. For a quick stay, it gets the job done.

No clean filtered water anywhere. They don’t even have fresh water at breakfast, trying to get you to pay for water bottles I guess. The “water jug stations” are dirty and in the pool area where they probably have tons of bacteria. The “breakfast” is hardly a breakfast. They have no hot food other than waffles and a random crockpot with “sausage gravy”, that looks like it’s from someone’s home. The rooms are fine but not the cleanest, showers and toilets could use some extra attention. The staff were nice and polite!

We came to Traverse City to spend time with our son and so we booked a 2 queen bed room. When we checked in, they had "upgraded" us to a King size room. We needed 2 beds and so our son had to go back to his apartment that night instead of stay with us. Very disappointing.

Hotel hall smelled like stale cigarettes. Hotel room door was previously broken in to, as the door itself had been jimmied, missing wood on door. Upon entering the room, the room smelled of strong stale cigarette smoke. Faucet to sink was broken and bathroom was not clean. Water line in toilet. Disappointing as I have previously stayed several times at this property. However, staff were professional and friendly.

The hotel was ok. It needs a lot improvement to be classified as a Wyndham as well as to justify the cost. I did not like walking into the room to the sink at the door. The room was fine, but average. Only 2 outlets. The bed was not comfortable because the mattress was tilted. I felt like I was on a hill about to roll off all night. The tile was coming off the wall in the bathroom and the ceiling was not well patched from a previous leak. We could hear people walking above all the time. The breakfast was minimal and not very good - it should not be promoted as a great hot breakfast.
