The most exciting vacation property in Southern Wisconsin! Located on Main Street in downtown Lake Geneva, this former bland office building has undergone a ground up restoration that will sleep 20 with 9 bedrooms (one in the Sunroom) , 7-1/2 bathrooms. Architecturally edgy and contemporary on the outside with great gathering spaces on two decks and four season room. The interior showcases a mix of industrial design, creative furnishings and flea market finds. The large open concept living area has 16 ft. of dining space, a spacious kitchen and entertaining area/living room with 65 inch HD Flat screen TV. Each bedroom has a signature style of it's own, offering the highest level of comfort and privacy. Top of the line mattresses, pillows and luxurious linens throughout. When you are ready to escape the group, each bedroom has a large HD flat screen TV. Six of the nine bedrooms have a private bathroom (the remaining three bedrooms share a bath). Each bathroom features a rain shower and one of a kind furnishings.
Leave all your worries about driving and parking behind when you stay at The Downtowner. Walk to your favorite restaurants, shopping and everything that magical Lake Geneva has to offer. Disclaimer- Being centrally located to the downtown means that you will hear some traffic noise. There is also a bar/restaurant next door with an outdoor courtyard. If you are looking for total peace and quiet, this may not be the right fit for you. White noise machines provided for your sleeping comfort.

Will Stay Again
This property is always well maintained and the property manager available. We have rented here numerous times because the space offers ensuites to most bedrooms. It is great for entertaining. The large outdoor space is nice for a cookout and it has a nice view and lots of seating. Location is Ideal if you want to go into town as you can walk to everything. We had seven couples and it never felt crowded. Its a great getaway.

Property was perfect for what we had (8 guys getting together to play golf and catch up). Clean, perfect layout, awesome outdoor and indoor gathering space. Only downside was noise from the bar next door at times.

Amazing weekend getaway!
Perfect home for a stay with a large group of family friends! We had so much fun and loved spending time in the kitchen and the patios! (Kitchen is well appointed for all meals) Such a great location to walk anywhere in downtown lake geneva. Don't hesitate to book this home for your next stay!

AC broken majority of the weekend with resolution
The location and overall property were awesome. Loved having many outdoor spaces and so many bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large group. The problem was that the AC didn’t work for a good portion of our stay. The owner sent an HVAC out but this didn’t resolve the problem. I spent most of one of our days interacting with the host instead of enjoying my weekend away. Her responses were very short and she seemed irritated every time I reached out. Hopefully the AC will get fixed as otherwise we had a nice stay.

Great location!
We stayed here over our wedding weekend with most of our bridal party and it was perfect! The location was amazing and a 5 minute-ish walk to everything we wanted to do. Tisha was an excellent host and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. This is the perfect property if you have a large group as there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the main hangout space has plenty of seating. We will be back!

I cannot imagine a better place to stay with a big group in Lake Geneva. It is located right in the heart of downtown, and every girl in our huge group had her own bedroom and bathroom. It was perfect.

Bachelorette Party Perfection
The Downtowner couldn't have been more perfect for our group. We loved the outdoor area and the ease of getting around downtown LG. Everyone was pleased with the house and would come back again. Having a bathroom in almost all bedrooms was a major perk and we appreciated there being 2 refrigerators as well.

Great for a big group
We stayed here with multiple families for a ski weekend. Kids from 1-10 years old. The house was great location to downtown, Starbucks. The host is great at reaching out and answering questions, checked via text to see if we needed anything. Each room has a bathroom in it, or right next to it. Large fully equipped kitchen, 2 refrigerators, very open for large group to hang out. We fit 4 families comfortably, 5 might have felt like too much even though plenty of beds. Overall was a great find for our large group!

The Downtowner was clean & spacious. Two refrigerators in the kitchen was a nice surprise! Accessibility to downtown Lake Geneva was awesome, we didn't have to drive anywhere. The owner was organized and made my first use of Vrbo a stress free transaction.

Girls Weekend Getaway
We had 10 girls staying at the Downtowner and were glad to find a place with so many en suite bathrooms. The listing was clear that it’s not in a quiet location and we found that to be true - it was very noisy with the bar next door playing loud music until late + sirens coming from the street outside most nights. That bothered some more than others, depending on how heavy you sleep. The bigger issues we had were with temperature and cleanliness. We took off our shoes coming into the house but soon noticed that the bottom of all of our socks got super dirty from walking around on the floors. Then, we had issues with the rooms on the first floor maintaining very different temperatures. Some rooms were stifling hot while others were uncomfortably cold. Keeping the doors open during the day helped the temperatures a bit, but closing the doors at night made it uncomfortable again. Since this is a converted property, I assume it has something to do with the way the rooms were closed off with the existing ductwork, but it definitely made for some uncomfortable sleeping.
