Staying overnight before moving my son into his dorm to rest up, but rest was not in the cards. There were dead bugs everywhere, as well a gigantic LIVING hornet on the bedspread. It felt dirty.

I don’t travel much, so there was a lot of sticker shock when I saw pricing that frequently exceeded $500 for a single night in Lancaster. I just wanted to sleep, not buy the place… Red Carpet Inn fit the bill for me. Older, yes, but well maintained and friendly. Will do again

No frills but just fine
No frills but clean and comfortable enough. Both the man who checked us in and the one who checked us out were friendly. Dog friendly as well, so I did hear some barking from a few doors down, and had to listen to a woman berate her husband and children through the thin walls for an hour the following morning. Thats just luck of the drawer however, and very reasonably priced, so I'd stay again if I needed a cheap room at short notice as I did this time.

The is a very economical place to stay for a few nights. This place is not a total dump at all. It is OLD, the amenities are outdated, the carpets are old. I get it. However, you are in a SAFE neighborhood, there are no roaches or other insects, the rooms are CLEAN, the A/C works, the hot water works and the ice machine works. Carla and the other staff members are pleasant to deal with. If you are particular about the caulking and having marble floors to walk on this place isn’t for. Look at the PRICE you are paying and make your decision based on that. You will NOT BE disappointed. If I were to do it all again I would have brought my own towels just because I like thick, plush and soft towels.

Carla was SUPER FRIENDLY. Definitely made me feel at ease. Small room but it was clean and smelled nice. I slept very comfortably. ONLY very minor thing was a stain in the light. But that's it. All in all not bad. Would stay again

Motels get a bad rap sometimes, but this place was fine, quiet and I felt safe. The one thing I remembered was that the room smelled really good once we walked in. The room and the bathroom were clean. Only thing was that there was no iron in the room. I guess that's to be expected with Motels? Also, there's a CVS and Aldi's type of store less than 5 minutes away. I will definitely revisit next time I am in town.

Cost efficient but we know why! Towels are paper thin. Lamps are old with many years of build up on them. Bathroom was clean but so old and stained that it looked nasty. Multiple things plugged into I ancient power strip loaded with hook and grime. When I reserved online I said we would have three adults and paid ahead . When we arrived I had to pay additional for the third person. That should have been shown when I made the reservation. Pool was not open. Do not stay here. Pay a bit more and feel more comfortable for the night.

Disappointment
The sink water pressure is low, the shower stall floor is old & stained, the bilding exterior is poorly maintained. The place should probably be torn down and rebuilt.
