I was taking my daughter to college and I would not recommend staying here unless you have a man with you. The areas was teeming with homeless and people asking for things. The room was filthy. I took several pictures of the walls and there was food and who knows what else splattered on the walls. The staff was friendly but it did not make up for the uncleanliness of the room or surroundings. Would not book again.

Suck ass hotel.
The air conditioning sucked ass the bed was not comfortable right after my husband and my stay became very itchy to where we had red rashes all over us room service was rude just overall not a time I would want to spend there again and we only stayed there for one night.

Not my favorite stay
This is an older hotel in need of an upgrade. The carpet felt damp and the mattresa was lumpy. There is a newer La Quinta literally across the street. I will stick to the Holiday Inn Express moving forward.

Our air conditioning was not working in our room. We had a rough time sleeping do to it being so hot! We asked told staff and they came to check it out. When he came in he even said it was really hot in the room so he called maintenance. Maintenance came and said it was hot asking where we are from we told him Arizona and he said you should be use to the heat and giggled he claimed that he told the management that they had to change about 8units out and all they kept saying was the new ac units were coming and claimed the condenser was going out and said hopefully the ac will work even if it spit out air. 😠 it was about 1230 1 am when my husband went back down stair and asked for fans because it was too hot and we were all sweating the guy said we had to deal with it because he couldn’t give us a different room and they had no fans!!!

On the plus side, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. On the negative side, the room next door, which was not a designated "pet" room, had two loud barking dogs being kept there. I could hear that the occupant was also inside but would not respond to staff knocking at their door. Result was that staff left them alone and instead suggested that I move to another room, even though I had already settled in where I was. Felt as though I was being penalized for someone else violating rules. Poorly handled in my view.

I have stayed here before in April 2024 & now in August 2024 & both times I have stayed were excellent. The entire staff including, front desk, housekeeping, and Continental breakfast attendant were super courteous, friendly and professional. The room was super clean including bed, bedsheets & everything. On a side note I do have a UV black light on my EDC flashlight and everything was absolutely spotless and super clean. The entire staff was very attentive & made sure my stay was great. I can say that they are one the best I have ever encountered & I've been on this Earth over half a century. I would DEFINITELY stay here again & I will when I get back into town. The hotel is also only a few miles from historic Mesilla which has several wonderful restaurants that are delicious and awesome. Lots of history in Mesilla, including Billy the Kid being imprisoned there shortly. Overall I would give 7 seven stars 🌟 if I could.

I have been staying at this Hotel for many years when I'm passing thru Tucson. I feel the property is getting very close to needing a make over. I notice the doors are not closing correctly. The beds are lumpy and sinking in the middle. The breakfast is just a shadow of what it used to be. It's hardly worth the effort going to get what is offered.. I like this hotel and don't wish to start searching for a replacement. So please make it like it was before..

Las cruces, wonderful place to be. In town for work, best place in las cruces if you’re budgeting but don’t want to sacrifice safety and ameinities. The young man at the front desk is cool as hell he a great “face of La Quintana” that wants welcome and professionalism should be exhibited on the day shift let the others work the night lol awesome place.
