Room was clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly.Great location. There is a Wal-Mart down the road and several restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance. Breakfast was ok, cereal, waffles, yogurt, toast and fruit. Overall, enjoyable stay.

This hotel does not deserve 8.6 stars, which is what was advertised. I would NOT recommend and will not be staying at a La Quinta again. It was very old and rundown, completely unwelcoming. There were hairs on the bedsheets; they offered us another room, which was worse with stained mattresses. After a long day of travel, we justified that it was fine for just sleeping the night. The next morning, breakfast was terrible and a homeless person came in and grabbed breakfast and walked back out without any acknowledgement or care from the staff. The elevator smelled heavily of marijuana. We complained to staff and she was horrible, the worst customer service I have experienced at a hotel. Told us if we didn't like it, we could leave, no compensation offered; She said if we did not like it, we should not have stayed. Do not trust the 8.6 review. It was a terrible experience.
