Hard to check in, line was very long. Had to carry all our own bags really far. Dunkin Donuts was awful and very slow but was the only choice for coffee. The room was nice and I liked the sitting vanity mirror. Kinda strange to have a door that does not open to the outside. Also, they have doorbells and someone kept ringing our bell in the morning. The neighbor wanted to ack us about our mini bar waking us up :(. I found out you can turn the doorbell off. The heated pool was really warm and nice. Sad to learn about the strike and to be yelled at by strikers every time we went in and out of the property we got called losers and had signs stuck out in front of our windshield. I support the strike I didn’t know anything about it until I got there and had already paid. So it’s not cool yelling at me coming from another state where I had no idea before getting there was not something I deserved. Pizza place was good but closes too early. The best thing about the hotel was the cleaner for our room. She was super friendly and helped us with our check out issues. One more weird thing was that they have a ride share area but there are no benches or places to sit. In the hallways there was dust on the carpets. They need to pay the employees the same as the other properties in Vegas they are the ones that make the stay a good experience.

We loved our stay. This Hotel has great restaurants The One, Chef Xu… The Kitchen a pizza place. It’s very convenient. The Casino is great, bars etc. There’s a strike going on, it does not affect the service or the inside atmosphere but it’s there, I hope it ends soon with a good outcome because the Hotel is great! We have stayed in other Virgin Hotels but this one is special. 20 mim walk to the Strip and 5 min walk to a shopping space. January 2, 2025

Beautifully designed remodel of the old Hard Rock with a funky atmosphere and warm employees. The hotel features a couple of good restaurants and a massive beach resort style pool area. Only one of the restaurants is open late (until 6am) with a relatively limited menu - but it's fairly good despite the $20 prices. Views on both sides of the hotel are solid - one side of the mountains and the other the strip. While we'll appointed with many modern features and comfortable furniture, the rooms are still obviously a remodel job. The electrical was flickery, the paint job and trims were a little sloppy, and the closer details of the cover work weren't quite convincing. The hotel itself is quite a walk from the strip, and it goes through a rough area so I ended up buying a lot of rideshare trips. They have a rideshare lane, but it's not obvious where it is, and getting over there is not as easy or safe for pedestrians compared to the valet/taxi loop under the portico. The check-in and check-out process has no express virtual option, so you're required to use the front desk which on both occasions I used it the wait was very long. Only 2 or 3 of the stations were open and it took about 20-30min. While I really enjoyed my stay and will consider returning, I would have to weigh other options before selecting this hotel again.

We had to go back to the front desk to get a king size bedroom. The front desk agent should have asked us if we were alright with 2 queens. Then all night long some picketers were using a megaphone screaming non stop. They were still there when we left in the morning. We had a very bad night sleep

The noise from the Striking workers was excessive. Then the digging of a hole beside the parking tower for 5 days, along with noisy suction machines at 6;00am was awakening. Plus around dinner the noise forced us to turn the TV to full volume in order to watch it.
