We had an excellent time! The property was always clean and the staff very friendly. The kids enjoyed their time at the Kids Club, they were very happy with Cielo and all the staff! We also got a goodbye cake and mimosas, thanks to Erick and everyone else at the breakfast restaurant. Thank you all!

Great vacation

This a week getaway for me & wife and the hotel was good with very friendly & cooperative staff. The restaurants where fine and had a few tours the where amazing. Also used the spa they was great! Yes ai would recommend Hyatt Ziva Hotel

The hotel was great, only thing was i chose this place for kids slide. There is a age limit, 4yr to 8yr only. So my kids could not use it my kids were too old..other than that, didnt need reservations for dinner. Buffet was excellent. Restaurants were delicious. They had couch setups with fire pits on at night.

Stayed 3 days at the resort. Overall is a positive experience. The food is above average and has many selections. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the the condition of the room. It definitely needs an update.

We chose Hyatt Ziva looking for a more upscale but not too upscale. We traveled as adults with no children and with the understanding that all inclusive resorts are trying really hard to make a huge diversity of people happy. We got a swim out room in the adult section, it was very quiet and clean and received full sun during the day. We had club access but we did not use it. We found that everyone at the resort was working very hard to provide an wonderful vacation for everyone. We love seafood and loved the ambience, food and service at the seafood restaurant even at breakfast; the view is unbeatable. Lugardo was our server and was wonderful. The hostess at the restaurant was very friendly too but didn’t catch her name. I highly recommend the brownie ice cream dessert there! Catalina was a butler and she did a wonderful job on my birthday surprising me with balloons, streamers and dessert. The hibachi restaurant was a fun experience and Sergio did a great job as our Hibachi chef. It is a long meal so expect to be there more than an hour or two for that and does require a reservation. We never heard the construction but we never visited the other side of the property. We were mainly at the adult pool and the infinity pool. The resort only has Pepsi products, we did walk across the street of the resort once to get a few Coca Cola products. I suggest bringing insulated cups and your own straws (not provided at resort).

Hyatt does a great job of recruiting and training friendly and fun staff. In particular, we found the waiters and hostesses, recreation staff and housekeeping to always offer a smile, warmth, and pride in service. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food. Other reviews had wanted about noise from the renovation/construction but we didn’t hear any during our stay. The outdoor areas are lively with music and activities and all ages. If you want quiet, you are best heading to the beach which was lovely to walk along. We are considering returning with our parents for a three generation family trip. The whole set-up seems good for large groups. There appeared to be a lot of birthday and wedding celebrations as well as family reunions.

Great All Inclusive spot in SJDC

Booked a mini trip at the start of the New Year and had a blast. Checked in albeit 30 mins after the 3pm time, but at least we were booked into the new wing of the hotel (building 2). Room 2732 was great, with great views, spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. Great location for the walkable beach and the hotel restaurants were also really good for an all inclusive. Casa Cortez was great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Right on the beach. Burger place (The Station) was great too. The French restaurant was nice. Great service and not bad food. We went to the Plaza once for breakfast. Always simple, but nice and easy. Eggs cooked in front of you is all most people need. Lots of variations of food. Hacienda quite noisy but the NY steak was tasty and nice desserts. Didn’t try El Monina as seemed a little too open and no atmosphere. One saving grace was that they had a really nice Sav Blanc wine in ALL the restaurants. The best restaurant was Dozo / Hibachi. Asian food. Like a Benihana really. Great service again. Would I have any complaints? Not really. One of the nicer all inclusive places in the area and a 30 min quick walk away from downtown San Jose Del Cabo. Even the TV had lots of English speaking channels with a “casting” feature, albeit this only works with Amazon and YouTube. Great place to relax and put your feet up.

Really nice bathroom. Nice shower pressure too.
