We had an awesome time at this property. The staff was exceptional, from the front desk to the wait staff. The food was delicious, and I loved the variety of cuisines. Even though some renovations were going on, it was still one of my favorite vacations, and I plan to return.

Because of the ongoing construction, there were some restaurants closed but still had enough options for our stay. We stayed there for 3 nights and we were very satisfied with the quality of food, drinks, and mostly the hospitality of all the workers. I read some reviews of the high-season complaints but we were there in mid-August(off-peak season) and didn't have any issues. Great wifi connections. No wait at the restaurants, food stands, and coffee shops.

The resort was amazing, there was plenty to do and the staff were pleasant and friendly. Pedro at the swim up bar by the beach was amazing and very attentive. He gave us information about the resort and activities going on.

The resort was very clean and staff were all very friendly and accommodating! Plenty of dining choices that were all excellent. Lots of fun activities too! Our only complaint was the noise from the construction right next to the pool. Cabanas were way overpriced considering the noise that lasted most of the day. I think a very reduced rate would have been fair considering.

We loved the Hyatt Ziva! We traveled with our 12 year old son, who enjoyed it as well.The pools were great, the food, the staff, the exercise classes by Lizet, and even the housekeeping service was outstanding. The attendants at the pool were so attentive and available. My favorite was the 24 hour coffee shop! Not that I needed coffee in teh middle of the night but it's a nice option. They had fresh fruit for the taking, pastries, sandwiches, and ice cream, not just coffee drinks. I loved not having to carry money around. The evening shows were so fun and creative. My favorite restaurant was the hibachi grill...make a reservation upon arrival at the resort. We also did a fabulous sunset dinner on the beach our last night...incredible. The only thing I would say is that my son wished there had been more for someone his age to do. They had lots of activites for young children but not much for tweens/teens. Adding that would make this a full service resort for families. Despite that, my expectations were exceeded. I look forward to returning!

DON"T EVEN THINK OF BOOKING THIS PROPERTY UNTIL 2027 There is jack hammering, sawing and grinding, all day, every day, and this is just the first building they are renovating. They try to dampen the noise by turning up the music by the pool, the result is more noise. We are a family of four, in the pool chairs, the people on the ends could not speak to each other without yelling. You can hear it underwater. They sent me a warning about the construction, two days after I booked, one day too late to cancel the whole thing. I could have still cancelled the hotel and switched, but of course the discount for a package no longer applied and the cost was higher. I still would have but the hotel messaged me two weeks before my stay, saying the loud noise (jack hammering) would be done before my stay, it wasn't. They tried to buy my silence by offering me 30k Hyatt points, enough for one night at this hotel at this time of year, I booked two rooms for five nights each! AND they required that I sign a release that included a commitment to not post a review such as this. I declined so I could warn all of you. To be clear, we LOVE Mexico, we have even stayed at this hotel before, we loved it and the people. That's why I booked with confidence, and did not check the recent reviews, BIG MISTAKE. I blame EXPEDIA, the details of the construction are not part of the happy path to book, and despite my many messages and complaints, they refuse to step up. I'm not done with them.

We loved the property but would have been better had we known how close construction was to main pool areas. Staff was awesome. Shout out to Norma, Lizette, Paula, German and Roberto for all the fun activities!! They made it very enjoyable!

I recently stayed at Hyatt Ziva and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the constant noise throughout the day made it nearly impossible to relax. From early in the morning until late afternoon, the sound of construction was relentless, turning what was supposed to be a peaceful getaway into a stressful experience. If you’re looking for a place to rest and unwind, I would strongly advise against booking here until the renovations are complete. Very disappointed with this stay. Haim Feldman

Service was great , Alberto took us to the room from the lobby and gave us excellent tour and great service. I think they should focus on the shows at the pool and theaters more . I gave not a 3 stars for that.
