I was told the office was open until 11pm. When i arrived at 1005pm i was told to go to another hotel to sign in. After driving for hours it was a bit frustrating.

Spiderwebs and spiders in various areas of the room. Rooms old and in need of remodeling.There was a big gap at the bottom of the door and we could hear people arguing in the parking lot and light was shining in all night.

Old, run down property, room still has very old carpet, we found 2 bugs inside, thankfully not bedbugs. Bedspreads stained. Staff very polite and friendly, the most positive thing about the motel. Someone outside our room smoking pot. Would not return

This was exactly what we expected and hoped for. Rooms are outdated, our shower handle was pretty loose, and the coffee maker was broken. However, we had a great time! Pools were fun, staff was nice.

This property is the "old-fashion" style of the motels where one can drive up to the office to check in, and then park at the door of your room. It's convenient, not far off the interstate and very near the downtown without the hub-bub of its busy-ness. The grounds are spacious and very well kept. My room was small but sufficient for 1 or 2 people. It was a bit of a mishmash of furniture which is the usual for an older motor inn, but all in great shape, very clean and had a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and nice toiletries. The check-in was very smooth; the gentleman at the desk was warm and welcoming, and had some good recommendations. Dollar for dollar in Mackinaw City, at this time of peak tourist travel, this property is a great value!

DO NOT BOOK at this property! The facility is very poorly represented on the website. Our room had a leaking air conditioner with mold on the walls and large carpenter ants…likely from the moisture and wood rot. The room smelt horribly of air freshener trying to disguise mildew odor. We checked in and immediately checked out. We were advised by staff that they could only offer another room, not a refund as we booked via third party. We didn’t want another room!, the entire facility was in obvious disrepair. Our daughter and fiancée had also booked a room that was unacceptable and were checking out as well, so the chance of them finding an acceptable room was highly unlikely. We contacted expedia and they said they’d need to verify with the hotel our story …. No surprise that this hotel had no record of us not staying and our complaint!! Expedia did not offer us a refund due to the hotel not documenting the series of events. AVOID and save yourself the aggravation and loss of funds.

Clean but dated and hot.
If your looking for a low cost place to lay your head this will work in a pinch. The room was clean but very hot when we got there. Has only a little window air unit in the wall and took hours to cool down. Also, a little carpenter ant issue in the bathroom. Rm 16.

Staff seemed friendly. The property is old and run down. At the same time, it was clean, water was warm, beds were clean and pretty comfortable, fridge worked really well, the door lock was easy to use and worked well. The place was also pretty busy. They are located in a good area and they are near lots of entertainment by the dock. Overall, a pretty decent stay for a budget hotel and would rate on the higher end of a 4.
