Sonshine Cabin a great place to enjoy the Holidays with family or friends

Welcome to the beautiful Sonshine Cabin, Conveniently located to hwy 421 Close to Madison ,Versailles and Friendship. The cabin is located on 15 ac and offers peace and quite. With 1800 sq of living space which includes a fully equipped , completely renovated kitchen to prepare meals. Enjoy your meals on a custom built table in the dining area. On the back deck you can enjoy grilling on a Blackstone grill with outdoor seating. On the main level is the great room with a stone fireplace. There is plenty of seating with a big leather sectional, a sleeper sofa to relax. Make your way up the stairs, you will notice the beautiful handmade cedar railings, from cedar trees off the property. Upstairs you will find 3 private bedrooms all with Queen beds. We also have a toddler bed and provide a pack n play for smaller children. There is 1 full bath upstairs and a half bath on the main level. One of the favorite places is the front porch with seating to watch the wildlife! It is a short walk to a beautiful creek which offers hours of fun for the kids. You can also enjoy roasting
Hotdogs and sā€™mores at the fire pit or pitch some horseshoes. If you are looking for a peaceful park like setting then Sonshine cabin is for you. We have recently added a security camera. It is on the outside of the cabin. There are no cameras inside the cabin. We respect your privacy and added the camera for security only. The cabin is located in a private area and we felt the camera would give guests additional peace of mind.

Perfect place to bring in the new year and celebrate my wifeā€™s birthday. Property was exactly as described and cabin was the cleanest Vrbo we have ever seen. The creek, cascades and waterfall had a nice flow due recent rains which my wife loved. Communication was prompt and polite. Highly Recommend!!

We have been blessed this year to see Sonshine in all 4 seasons! Each season offers a different kind of beauty, its too hard to pick our favorite. But it doesn't really matter because we adore this cabin. Its so cozy, clean and inviting. The land surrounding it is so beautiful. We look forward to doing it all over again!

Great Cabin in a great spot
We're a group of five nature loving guys, AKA The Nature Guys and this was our 3rd stay at the Sonshine Cabin. The cabin is extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners go to great lengths to have it pleasantly decorated with a seasonal theme. The location and grounds are perfect for our group - quiet, peaceful and a wonderful natural area. We HIGHLY recommend the Sonshine Cabin for people of like interests.

This is a tremendous location if you are looking for peace and solitude. The natural setting is perfect for relaxation and exploring nature. Not to mention the wonderful campfire circle in the backyard. The cabin is just about perfect...impeccably clean, well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful property
This cabin is located on a stunningly beautiful piece of land. There is a creek, hiking trail, fire pit, hammock, and plenty of wildlife to watch. Versailles is conveniently located about 15 minutes away, and Madison 30 minutes. Our family of six slept comfortably in this cabin, we had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again, and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, relaxing place to spend some time.

Girls Get Away Weekend
Me, my sister, and our daughters enjoyed a great weekend at this cabin north of Madison. Cabin was wonderful for our needs. We shopped on Friday, had lunch, toured a couple of the historic homes, and then made our way to the cabin for the rest of the weekend. The cabin was out and away from close neighbors and provided everything you need - from all the appliances, etc. in the kitchen, to spaces to relax, play games, sit on the porch and just enjoy the park like setting. Just what we wanted and needed for a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend together! There was a nice grill out the back door with all the things you needed, but we didnā€™t use it. Also a very nice trail down to the water. A very clean and well appointed cabin. Highly recommend!

Family vacation
My family stayed at Sonshine Cabin for the first family vacation we've had in a long time. It was also the first one with my grandson. The quiet setting was perfect but it wasn't too far to get to Madison or Versailles. I love how the owners seemed happy to welcome children to the cabin. My grandson had a blast! This would be a perfect place for a retreat. I highly recommend staying here!

This is a great place to stay!! Wonderful outdoor area , plenty of space to relax and just enjoy being there. I was outside for over an hour just enjoying the weather and never heard a car. The inside is perfect for a family. All the rooms are decorated very nicely. This is definitely a place I will look at staying again.

The Cabin was wonderful to stay in for 3 nights! Communication between host and myself was fast and efficient! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We love staying at the Sonshine Cabin....been six times now. It is clean, quiet, and peaceful. Sitting on the porch swing watching birds or plopping a camp chair in the creek at the end of the trail while the kids play are both ideal activities. Madison is a quick trip too and there's so much to do in town.

Another great stay!
This was our 3rd stay at the Sonshine Cabin. Another great experience! Love the ability to disconnect from the "outside world." Our family, especially our boys, love being able to just run around the yard, explore the woods, and go "creek splashing." From fires in the backyard pit to sitting on the front porch, it's such a great getaway. Lots of nature to see--all kinds of woodpeckers and other birds, turkeys, deer, opossums, and even a raccoon sleeping in the tree above the swing. The cabin inside is very comfy, as well. Love the kitchen updates! Looking forward to coming back again.

The perfect getaway
This cabin is literally your perfect getaway. Not a neighbor for at least a half mile away (probably closer to a mile). All you hear is birds, the trees blowing in the wind and the woodpecker in the trees in the mornings! The cabin itself is the perfect, comfortable space with a wood burning fireplace! There is a walking trail that leads to a creek with a small waterfall! The bed is incredibly comfortable and the pillows were so nice that we bought some for our own home! Full kitchen allows you to bring groceries and cook! There is a Blackstone on the back deck and an outside firepit for smores!! We enjoyed our stay and most definitely coming back in the summer!!!! Small towns and attractions all around too. Madison, IN. is a great little town on the Ohio River that is only a 20 minute drive with lots of shopping and good pub and grills! Seriously no reason to look at any other cabin! A must stay!
