Only four miles away you can visit the CLOUGH STATE PARK which includes the stunning 150-acre EVERETT LAKE, a 900-foot sandy beach, playing fields, and a large picnic area. Activities in the park include swimming, hiking, fishing, picnicking and non-motorized boating!
Also with a 15 minute commute, you'll find PAT'S PEAK: a popular alpine ski area with various trails, terrain parks, and snow tubing! For longer ski trails, a half an hour drive away is MOUNT SUNAPEE STATE PARK with breathtaking views all year round while you hike, ski, or snowboard! Both mountains are incredibly well taken care of by friendly, helpful staff!
Within Mount Sunapee State Park is LAKE SUNAPEE -- another very popular water destination complete with multiple beaches! Here you can visit any of the five lighthouses or the quaint Harbor with restaurants and a country store. You can climb onto boats that will take you for a full tour of the lake, launch your own boat, or go fishing! The lifeguards in the public areas make Lake Sunapee the perfect place for safety while canoeing and kayaking.
