We had a great stay at the hilton, check in was really friendly and our room was spotless with such a powerful shower and a well comfy bed. The sports bar was really good and drinks prices were so reasonable for an airport hotel, we ate in the Garden restaurant in the evening and food and service were both great. Overall we had a great stay and can't think of any negatives and the proximity to the south terminal is a big plus.

We were charged for an early check in while our friends with the same room type were not. The bathroom was dirty, with an open safety pin left on the bathroom floor, tissues that someone very obviously took out of the box and stuffed back in and unstocked or empty toiletries. The shower had black and pink mold and the hallways were littered with dirty plates. This was fine for one night, but not on par with the usual Hilton experience.

Reception staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. Eventually the priority services receptionist took pity on us (a family with two small children who had been traveling for almost 24 hours without sleep by that point) and got us settled, which was much appreciated, but I wouldn’t willingly book a Hilton again.

The property was awesome when needing to stay near Gatwick/flying in & out of Gatwick. It was convenient being a 5min walk away to catch your flight. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were nice & up to date. Just wish there was more amenities such as a pool as there is really nothing to do in this part of the city.

We enjoyed the stay. The lady who checked us in was super helpful and so nice. The accommodation was nice. The bed was average which surprised me as I run a small motel and it’s always surprising to me when big hotel chains have mediocre mattresses. You are selling a good nights sleep and that’s all it would take would be a better mattress. We had one other problem, when we rented we weren’t told that there is no parking. Maybe that makes sense to everyone else since it’s an airport hotel but it didn’t to me. So that was pretty surprising as I don’t remember reading that anywhere. Also when you rent through Expedia you don’t get the breakfast option. And we got a room on the back of the lot. If we had been in a stadium we would have been in the nose bleed section. Other than that everything was ok, not an unforgettable experience but not bad either. :).

Helpful staff, great location at the South Terminal of the airport. However, when I ordered a pot of coffee, the staff member tried to convince me that the instant coffee already in the room was as good as brewed coffee! Why not just take the order and deliver some coffee? Otherwise the room was great.
