Poor management
We have stayed at this hotel for several years during football season. Such a shame to see it go downhill the last year. I reached out to the manger several times by phone and by email about an issue we had when our room that we reserved was given to someone else and we had no room once we got there to check in. The manger never called me back or answered my emails. Poor management. Won’t be staying there again. Breakfast is pitiful now as well

When I arrived for check in after a 10 hour drive and a prepaid booking; I was told I would need to pay an additional $75 for my 7 pound elderly dog. Typically, this would not be a problem. However, in the details for hotels.com and for Tru by Hilton there is no mention of the extra charge. I feel it is an undue burden and stress to put on a traveler who may be within a certain budget and the information should be provided more clearly. Beyond the check-in and extra charge. The hotel is a great value and very well maintained. Comfortable beds, quiet, and clean.

Skip this hotel. I arrived at 2:45 and instead of being invited to wait or checked in early, I was rudely informed that they would need to change me for an extra full day, BECAUSE IT WAS 15 MINUTES BEFORE CHECK IN TIME. I said I would just wait (obviously!) until 3:00 and only pay for my reserved night. Then I went to use the bathroom that is just off the lobby, and the desk attendant followed me, suspiciously. I’m Not sure if she was thinking I was going to sneak into an open room and steal those 15 minutes, but it was really strange! The amenities listed on Expedia are non-existent in the hotel and the only one they do have, free breakfast closed at 9am. I won’t be back to this hotel.
