Kurt at the front desk was very nice. The bed was the worst I have ever tried to sleep in. The mattress sunk down in the middle and hit the box springs!!!!! We got no sleep because of the mattress and the room was facing a major intersection with road noise all night long. Front desk said they would compensate us for the problems, but that did not happen.

Beds were very comfortable, pillows were great! Room size was just what we needed. Liked the bathroom was 1 room as opposed to a sink outside of bathing/toilet area. Only complaint is there was a constant high-pitched whistle/whine every 5-7 minutes. Lasted about 10 seconds each time, but very annoying during sleep time. Did not notice it till later in the evening. Difficult to sleep thru. Plumbing issue??

I asked for a quiet room and was given a super room on the 3rd floor away from everything. The room was clean, the bed was truly very comfortable, the shower water pressure and heat were outstanding, and the big bath towels were not scratchy. For a little over $100, this was one of the best hotel values I've experienced in awhile (and I travel thru NC, SC, and TN several times a year).

Not a good place to stay with family
The pictures online were very misleading. Online it looked spacious and clean. The curtains were shredded in some parts, as was the shower curtain. The room did not feel clean, especially since there was hair in the bathroom and crumbs on the floor. The alarm clock was set to midnight, unbeknownst to us, and when it went off we discovered the off switch was broken. We will not be returning to this hotel.

The beds are uncomfortable.could have stocked toiletries better . The breakfast could have more things. Had cold and salty eggs,need like donuts,bananas, but stay was good overall. Loved Mt airy. Will come back
