Beware of all things promised...cleaniness and ame
Hotel did not have our room ready at check in. We had to wait 90 minutes past check in time before our room was ready. When we got to our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, the walls and doors were in rough shape (marks, dirt on entrance door, fingerprints on sliders to balcony). Entering the batrooms the light switches and outlets had layers of "dirty" dust on the top edges. The headboard has layers of dust of the ridges right next to the pillows. The TV remote in the king bedroom was held together by green duct tape. There was a hole in one of the dining room chairs which made sitting in that chair uncomfortable. The pool bar was a dive and the only food at the bar were several variety of chips. The coffee cafe had gas station type sandwiches and overpriced coffee drinks. The view out of our suite was spectacular and the only other good thing was the closeness to the beach.

Property on the outside is nice, the staff is nice. However, we were put in a penthouse 1 bedroom, the room didn’t have a fire alarm, someone had taken it off the wall. The room was not cleaned well, food was still left in the refrigerator and the wall look like it had a bug splatter on it.

Went here for our 1st wedding anniversary and it did the job. Room was nice, although lots of light switches that didn’t work anything, some broken cabinet doors but the room did the job and was spacious. The pool bar was not really too impressive. Husband and I both got drinks that weren’t very good or mixed well. The staff was very friendly while we stayed. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The only major complaint I have is a fire alarm was pulled in the middle of the night, which wasn’t the problem. An alarm went off in our room, which we thought was a great feature to ensure everyone knew and could get out. We all evacuated as instructed. My problem was, the firemen JUST arrived. They weren’t even there 5 minutes and a staff member opened a side door and was telling people they could go back inside. So we walked into the lobby and asked if it was safe to go back to our room since they were letting people inside. Two women at the counter said they didn’t get the okay from the firemen yet, so we couldn’t go up. If they didn’t give you the okay, then why is YOUR staff telling people to go back inside to a potential fire zone?! We walked back outside and around the back while we were waiting to be allowed back inside and people were still swimming in the pool area and walking around inside like they had no idea what was happening. Felt like the staff was more worried about closing the pool area and no one was on the same page about how to handle the situation.
