Did not stay. Didn't feel safe! Couldn't cancel. Reservation.Sandbar pictures misrepresented property. I paid 241 for oceanview , ocean was across the street. Could get a customer service for Expedia on the customer helpline. First time I 've had problems!

The front desk lady was rude and unhelpful, when ask about decent food in the area. Nice room size, yet not one area was swept, dirt behind closed doors. Grit on floors. Left side of king size bed was broken fully springs gone! Than to top it off the tub was filthy gray and the door hinges swang and were dirty. Kitchen and bathroom sinks clean, no blankets. AC was at 69° when arrived, clock had wrong time phone table was filthy dust all on phone, which didn’t work. That table keep hitting the bdrm door. The bed was full of a sand, i never went to the beach and that sand was on both sides of the bed. Noise didn’t stop until around 2am

It was... "OK." Nothing really special to recommend. Some things that were odd: the hot water control on the kitchenette sink turned on in both directions, and to turn it off you had to find the 'middle' of the dial. Why? The cold valve worked normally, all the way to one way was on, the other was off. Two matching lamps with different shades, a lamp in the corner behind the chair was, IMO, hazardous - and wouldn't turn on - no switch on the lamp itself, and no switch nearby on the wall worked - the part of the socket that holds the bulb was loose and tilted to one side. I unplugged it.. On the second evening our bathroom smelled like an ash tray, as I think someone was smoking in another bathroom and blowing the smoke into the ventilation system to try and disguise it - and it found its way into our room on the ground floor. On the last of our 3 nights we came back and my wife thought it sounded like someone was taking a shower in our bathroom! It was someone overhead, let the water overflow. The staff gave us another room because - but only when I insisted. Anyway, it was cheaper a lot of the places around, we needed a room, and this sufficed. It's not beach-front, as the ocean is across the street, but there's a vacant lot there and you can see the ocean from some rooms, though not from ours and probably not from most.

KJ and front desk were phenomenal to speak with and were very accommodating. KJ helped carry our things up to our room and anytime he saw us he asked if we needed anything. We always had fresh towels! Beach access was close and efficent, not on a busy part of the beach! Walking distance to dining and coffee! Nice room, there were unfortunately a couple cockroaches that we saw told the front desk and were offered another room and many apologies!
