Great stay. The hotel staff is exceptional. The free breakfast is wonderful. A couple of things need to be repaired at the hotel. One of the elevators doesn't work which meant long lines on the weekend with the staff and guests all sharing an elevator. The ice machine on our floor was broken which meant riding the elevator to get ice. The hotel is on a busy road and adjacent to a trauma hospital so during the night expect car engines and sirens.

We did not know that they provided a free shuttle service to the Grand Ole Opry. That made it so easy for us, not having to worry about directions or parking. William the van driver was fantastic.

When My Parents Are Happy...
I book this hotel for my parents when they come to town. If my dad is content, then you score well. Mom goes with the flow. Being familiar with Hampton Inn, I knew my expectations would be met. This hotel is the reason I chose the same chain for my trip to New Orleans. I was utterly disappointed with the Hampton in New orleans though. Definitely a 6 to7 out of 10. But this location...superb. The customer service was excellent, the pool was exciting for the 3 year-old, the location convenient to the Waffle House and Walmart, my parents favorite places! Lol...they will stay here again for sure!
