Never trust the rate on hotels.com again...
I was charged double digits per night extra as a hotel "facilities fee" with no extra facilities. I called hotels.com after traveling all the way to the hotel and was told hotels can charge whatever extra fees they wish on arrival, so the reservation rates were/are not your actual rate which you will only know on arrival. Adding hidden fees is illegal in many countries but not the U.S.A.

Just because the place is inexpensive, doesnt mean its a dive. Its pretty decent, good pool, good service and clean, and its in good condition.

The staff (front desk and shuttle driver) were amazing, but the first morning we went for breakfast we were told there was only cereal (no fruit or yoghurt) or toast available - but they were discounting the breakfast from $10 to $7 because of the limited options….! Also stayed 3 nights and the room was not serviced even though we left the door card out every morning requesting service.

The property was obviously older, but the price was considerably better than the others nearby. Although it was older, it was clean and kept nice. The room felt fresh and was plenty cool on a couple of 100 degree days. The staff was wonderful. From Marvin the shuttle driver to the bartender at the bar (I can't recall her name...maybe Ruth). The shuttle to Broadway was easy and safe. We will definitely stay again!
