Pretty expensive for the night. No fridge in the room! Breakfast was average. Close to the casino and free shuttle was great.All in all very nice stay. Just a bit expensive.

Good enough
I wasn't expecting much based on other reviews of this property, so was pleasantly surprised at the few things this hotel got right. The room was clean, which is a definite plus considering there was no daily housekeeping. We were given a room on the first floor which I did not like. But the hotel was pretty empty when we got there, so I figured they were just putting everyone on the first floor. I was wrong. When the guests above us were in their room, we could hear every single footstep above us. Also, hallway noise was was a slight issue in the morning. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was great except for the shower/tub. The water pressure was fantastic (which is not something that happens very often) but of course then the tub did not drain quickly. By the end of your shower, you'd be standing in 3-4 inches of water (and I didn't even wash my hair). I would stay here again as it is very close to the casino and the beach and restaurants (there is even a free shuttle that will take you to the casino) and a cheaper option vs. the resorts right near the water.

Memorial Day weekend
Stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The employees were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The pool and hot tub were also very clean. The hotel is conveniently located across a gas station and McDonald’s for those late night treats and is only a short drive to downtown New Buffalo. Overall, we had a great stay.

The entire hotel is outdated. I’ve never seen a Holiday Inn so outdated. The breakfast was bare and minimal. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were flat.
