We were so pleased with our choice to stay at the Creole Gardens Inn. A wonderful bed & breakfast in a historic home. Our King room with a balcony was fatastic. A spacious room with bed, seating area, large bathroom with a shower and a clawfoot tub for soaking. The balcony was a great bonus space with table and chairs plus wonderful padded rockers and a nice view of the neighborhood. Even though there were heat advisories daily the A/C and ceiling fan kept our room nice and cool. The breakfast spread was delightful as well. Hot coffee, juice, fresh yogurt& fruit, granola, pastries and breads for toasting and a hot breakfast du jour cooked when you came down. Personnel were all so friendly and gave recommendations for how to use the streetcars to get to the french qtr or beyond, also wonderful to use and 1 block away. They shared great knowledge of restaurants or shops too. Parking was free in a lot just past the houses with a pass only, not a public lot. There were many restaurants within walking distance and a nice neighborhood with some old world Orleans charm without the frenzy of the quarter. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Very eclectic property, that made for the perfect New Orleans couples vacation. Arrived late by airport rental car at 1:30 A.M. We had pre-called hotel for special late self check-in procedures. Staff was absolutely wonderful! Simple, but perfect, hot breakfast was included and got us prepared to visit the National World War 2 Museum, located a 9 minute walk away. Two huge banana trees in the courtyard were growing fruit! Not a full service National brand hotel, but perfect for traverler’s needing a comfortable, friendly home base from which to experience New Orleans!

Wonderful stay!
The super friendly staff made our stay wonderful! Breakfast is included and cooked to order. The property is right next to a trolley stop so we had convenient access to wherever we wanted to go in the city. The room was clean with comfy beds. The only negative about our stay was the lack of a mini fridge in our room. I would absolutely stay here again!

This place is A Gem so beautiful & omg the staff is everything. They have A nice little Jazz bar connected to it. This will be my go to place. The breakfast was everything when I come to New Orleans this will be where I stay.

This is an old home that has that charm. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. They foster a family friendly feel that was delightful. It would have been better if housekeeping had emptied our trash daily. We didn’t care about making our own beds, it felt rather like our European experiences

Enjoyed my stay, lower garden district was a good neighborhood to stay in. 15 minute walk to downtown, and a couple of cool places right around the inn. The room and inn had a historic look and feel, and the room was very comfortable. Andy the hostess was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Overall, I will definitely stay at CG again the next time I’m in town.

It's ok. Needs refrigerators.
They need to put a refrigerator in each room or add one to their enormous dining area. Alot of my leftovers went to waste because I had nowhere to store them. Other than that, this place was fantastic. The area is quiet and there's plenty of parking. I didn't eat the breakfast because the lady in the kitchen kept sneezing everywhere without covering her face...gross. I served myself some orange juice and it tasted a little spoiled. The breakfast offerings were BELOW. I truly hope that it wasn't included in the price because it was not it. The internet would go out sometimes and I had homework to do.
