Only one elevator was working, which it took forever to get the lobby. Time for checkout it took over 30 mins to get in the elevator only because I had to trick the elevator that I was going up instead of going down. I refused to take the stairs with 4-5 luggage’s being on the 11th floor.

Requested Handicapped. Were told by two different staff members that it was. It was not. When I was finally able to get someone to understand what a handicap room is they had to move us from 14th floor to 9th floor. when went to move the elevaor was not working. finally moved us using the freight elevator. Not real sure why the hotel would put a handicap person that high up. Seems pretty unsafe in case of fire.

The reason for this rating was 2 items. The first was the elevator did not work properly and staff did not seem alarmed at all. The elevator dropped a couple of feet twice while we were on it, other people were stuck in it. Also, there was no way to get a beverage like soda, there cooler was bare.

The elevator kept breaking everyday, there were a couple times I had to walk up to the 15th floor because it was broke. I should’ve gotten reimbursed something or a discount for having to deal with that on a daily.

Only one elevator was working, and I had to go down 7 flights of stairs, elevator was always crowded. I wasn't too pleased with the breakfast. Overall I would stay there again hotel was very quiet and safe within walking distance of Bourbon street.

Nice hotel and staff. Parking was plentiful next door at Tulane parking garage. Eateries short walk down Canal St. Free breakfast. Biggest issue was elevator. Only one!!! And it got stuck multiple times. When it wasn't stuck, it was super slow. Thankfully we were on third floor and just used stairs. Our friends were not so fortunate. If you stay, ask for low floor just in case.

The overall hotel was okay as far as being clean. It had one working elevator which was a real nuisance. The breakfast was decent, there was a wide variety but keep in mind it's the same stuff over and over again. The staff for the breakfast refused to replace items that were empty so the upkeep wasn't good. The room was filthy. I opened up the sleeper sofa there were chips falling out of it. The floors were grummy. There was a strong smell of weed coming from the next room and around 1 am there were loud talking right outside our bedroom. The bathrooms were small, toilet needed to be flushed 10 times in order to be clean. The door was rubbing against the wall to close. They checked me out a day early and i had to go downstairs and redo my key when my reservation clearly stated the correct dates and they blamed Expedia. Thank goodness I kept the reservation handy. The location is not too bad from the French quarter. Next time i probably would get something in the French quarter. I am also not happy with Expedia, who charged me way too much and didnt want to adjust the price when there were only 2 adults and not 3 going a month in advance. At the lobby because of the mishap I was told the price for the night and i paid 45 more a night using Expedia. All these businesses I am super weary of as they are all out to gouge your eyes out.

WE stayed 4 nights, elevator was always broken. We even got stuck in it once. Advised the desk they said we would get a discount, when checking out the staff advised they did not have the authority to give me a discount. I got the asst managers number to call. Have yet to have time to make the call but I will do it today.

The staff was so friendly to us both upon check-in and check-out. The hotel lobby was beautiful and always had ice water and coffee available, and our room was comfortable and very clean. I really liked the lighting in the bathroom for hair and make up too, and I loved the close proximity to the quarter. We did not try breakfast (we had a date with beignets) but it looked like a good selection when we walked past with plenty of seating for everyone. The only somewhat negative thing is that there is a limit as to how many people can be in the elevator and some people disregarded that, which was a little nerve-wracking. And this is no fault of the hotel, but we ended up parking in the attached garage that seems to be for the hospital and liked how close it was, but it was confusing to figure out how to get back in because the doors we exited locked from the inside and we did not immediately see signage of where to enter on foot. It was relatively affordable though and convenient once we sorted it out. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again next time we visit New Orleans.
