When we checked in the system was down and the manager I assume had to write down my credit card number on a sheet of paper listed with all the rooms And others credit card information. He never mentioned shredding this paperwork and I never seen him again during my stay to confirm he shredded the paperwork with my card information on it. I had to call my bank and get a new card number due to my card information being written down!!! We had no toilet paper in our room upon arrival and when we asked it took hours! House keeping didn’t clean our room or give us fresh towels!! This is my second time staying here and this will be my last.

The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean. But we probably wouldn’t stay again. Our room didn’t have a window to the outside, it was just a small window that went out to a brick wall so we had no natural light. If you book here, ask for a room with a window

We absolutely love staying at Moxy and feel the most comfortable there. It was incredibly disappointing arriving from California to New Orleans at 9PM to find out they over booked us and gave our reservation away. At first they offered no alternative or support to us and it wasn’t until we had to demand a solution that Moxy finally sent us over to the Sheraton which was so awful. Our keys didn’t work, we had an issue with ordering room service, the phones weren’t working, and they informed us that the following day the whole hotel would not have any access to water as it was going to be shut off from 10am-4pm. We were extremely disappointed and it was completely frustrating.

Cool little spot, can easily walk to French quarter and Bourbon Street. Free vodka cocktail at check in. Convenient room service options. Per friendly but no spot to walk the pup (grass) besides a park a couple blocks away. City scene.

The staff was super friendly and recommended a lot to do around the French Quarter. Very good location, a few minute walk to Orpheum Theater, few minutes from Bourbon St. and a lottttt of places to eat at or get drunk at around. I definitely enjoyed my stay and if I come back to New Orleans I will be staying at this hotel again.
