This a cute place definitely the feel I was hoping I love that we stayed in a historic building the decor is beautiful! Our room was the best we got to experience sitting outside in the balcony it was a plus!

We loved our stay at Rathbone! The hotel room was clean and lovely, the pool was perfect for a summer trip, and the walk to the French Quarter was quick. The staff were lovely and so helpful. If we ever come back to New Orleans this will be our stay again!

Very comfortable and cute. The Rathbone is two lovely old houses across the street from each other. We stayed in a room on the back courtyard. The room was large, with a mini fridge and microwave and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It’s an old building, and that shows a bit (hot water ran out one morning), but no deal breakers for us. They put out coffee and modest breakfast items (instant oatmeal, fruit) in the reception room every morning, although not always as early as advertised. Neighborhood around the buildings is urban, but seemed safe, and we walked out to informal dining. Would definitely stay there again.

The pictures don't do this place justice. The rooms are beautiful, the location perfect: walking distance to everything (restaurants, bars, music venues...) but quiet enough to rest. The staff is amazing, checking in and out seamless. I would totally stay again.

Be careful where you walk
Our first experience in New Orleans. We decided on the rathbone for two reasons. 1. It had the authentic feel of New Orleans 2. It had a pool and a hot tub to enjoy To start with the hot tub is just that a hot tub not a Jacuzzi. After spending a full day in New Orleans we come back to our room and my wife's foot went through the floor In the room that we were staying in. They're refunded our money for our stay and we left.This house/Mansion needs many many upgrades and is basically falling apart.
