Ours stay at Sonder was the icing on the cake. The place was a full size one bedroom apartment with a walk-in closet, full kitchen, dinning area, in-room washer/dryer, and living room. We looked forward to going back to the room to unwind from a long day of exploring New Orleans! The views were breathtaking from our floor (17th) and the rooftop pool was a great place to lounge in the sun. We will most definitely look for Sonder in other locations we visit!!!!!

The trolly is right across the the street and easily accessible. The area is quiet and is walking distance to so many restaurants and sights. The staff was friendly and responded to requests quickly. The rooms were clean and we loved having a washer and dryer in the room.

This is my second time staying with 1500 Canal St. and we love it every time the place is beautiful very clean very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Just a really nice place to stay and itā€™s close to all the locations you wanna go to a trolley stop right across the street.

I was surprised at how large the rooms were. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels because New Orleans is humid and lots of showers were required. I was happy to see the washer and dryer, but it would have been nice if there had been some laundry detergent for at least one load. There are no grocery stores close, in fact, I didnā€™t see any. We did find laundry detergent at the CVS a short distance away. The location was good away from the noise and bustle of Bourbon Street. We had a good visit.

Despite having some mold and water damage in the closet it was overall very good. Had issues with the TV when we first arrived and someone was by within 30 minutes to fix it, which was great! It was a 1 minute walk to the streetcar stop which was fantastic. One draw back was that there were not many grocery stores close by. Would stay again.

Since I booked through a third partyā€™s site they couldnā€™t extend my stay or offer me a booking on their site. My flight was cancelled twice due to the hurricane and I had to check out/switch rooms / check in and then out again to book another hotel. It was inconvenient but other than that I enjoyed the room/apartment. Staff was friendly and communicated quickly by chat and the table for Sonder which is in the Jung Hotel.

Everything was great for the most part. The only issue I had was the bed was not very comfortable. The staff was easy to contact. The rooms were very clean. The area was accessible to many things so all in all it was a great stay and I would stay again.

There was an unpleasant odor when you first walk-in and the dishwasher had a stench as well. Sofa was stained and the mattress seemed to be worn and sort of lopsided on the right side. Otherwise, my stay was pleasant enough.
