Good location, got the deluxe king room which was awesome nice & roomy stocked fridge, snacks in room Enjoyed our stay , breakfast at their restaurant was not very good but there is coffee shop you can go to Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay the staff were all very friendly & courteous

The room was super cute and had a full sized fridge with lots of snacks for purchase. The chrome cast didn’t work, room service was unavailable, one one elevator was working, and the pool was closed on Monday for cleaning. Great gym, beautiful pool area, fantastic location.

I have loved the ACE Hotel for years. I’ve probably stayed there more than any other guest. I found out today it will no longer be the ACE. The Hyatt Group purchased the hotel. I read they would not alter the interior, just changing the name. Time will tell. I will say this.., the name Hyatt and the vibe the ACE has had over the years doesn’t mesh well with me. I’ve talked to several people and they are agree and are just as skeptical about the future of one of Nola famous places to stay. In fact, I’m collecting ACE Hotel labeled items. I will represent the ACE for life! Things change but my feelings will not. Good luck to the Hyatt!!

After a long week, I simply wanted a quiet evening with room service before a morning appointment in the city. I used the QR code to access the menu and all menu items indicated ‘unavailable.’ I called the front desk and they routed me to room service, which ended up being a voicemail box. I did this 3 times and on the fourth time, the desk person told me “I guess they’re busy, sorry.” No follow-up, no let me see what we can do, nothing. So I basically paid about $400 to watch TV and eat their overpriced room snacks, which are plentiful. Oh, if you want free condoms, this is place to be. Too bad I only wanted to eat food. The room was clean and the retro look is cute, but if you want any service to your room go somewhere else. I have stayed in many places in NOLA and there are better options for this price point.

This hotel did a great job in transforming this warehouse space into a beautiful comfortable destination. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food options just around the property great. Recommendation: the room needed space to rest suitcase and clothes. The Ardmore was so full of stuff there was no room to put our personal stuff a fold down shelf that matches the wood would have been nice. Having a nice luxury bathtub was great and shower was very nice hot water consistently through the entire shower. What would be nice for some amenities Such as bath salts, bubble bath, along with the soap, shampoo, and conditioner overall, this is a great destination for New Orleans very close to all the activities transportation great restaurant very walkable

Different take
It was my second time. I chose it for its convenience to the Immersive Monet exhibit. I had my 11-year-old granddaughter with me who enjoyed the ambiance, the pool and Seaworthy. She did question why the snacks cost exorbitant amounts, but the condoms were free. The couple almost copulating in the pool about 8 p.m. gave her a different view of New Orleans too, but she liked the lights and the music.
